Had some chill time by the pool. Very peaceful mountain getaway from the hubbub of Lima city - apartments clean and spacious, and the food was fantastic. Really enjoyed our short stay and would go back.

The resort is an hours drive from Lima. The one bedroom units are comfortable although not deluxe. There are basic kitchen facilities and a small refrigerator...and very small freezer compartment. The swimming pool is fine. The clay tennis courts are in poor condition and need repairs. On weekends the restaurant serves good quality food. There are no shops nearby nor... More

The resort is too far away from Lima or any other activity and the mountains around the resort don´t have much of a view, other than brown dry boring mountains. I did a timeshare exchange and it didn´t feel anything like a timeshare but more of a 2 star hotel. The gym equiptment is broken and doesn´t work, our stove... More

Long complicated drive from Lima on crappy roads. Do not expect much to do in the immediate area. Very relaxing place for sleeping in late and down time. We tried the bar and an appetizer. Kitchen and bar seem adequate. One bedroom suite large, clean, but dated. This place is part of the Interval World Timeshare system. It would not... More

We came here for 1 week and we left after a few days! Before our arrival, we tried to contact them from the USA, but it was impossible to talk with the reception. Only the guard at the front entrance answered the phone to give us simple information about the place. He couldnt speak english. When we arrived, nobody was... More

This resort is an hour from the Lima, very long taxi ride. I did a timeshare exchange and when checking in at 2:00 a.m. no one spoke english. Furthermore, the front desk people do not speak a word of english. The guard checked us in and thankfully our hired taxi driver spoke english. The restaurant has no menu and does... More

Greatly enjoyed our time at Sauce Alto, although it is about an hour and 10 min. cab ride from the airport in Lima. We arrived very late a night (2 am.) due to a late flight, but had no problems checking in (I suggest being careful with travel this late!). We went in June and there were very few visitors... More
