Stayed here for one night, could do more! The hotel looks amazing and located right on the St Martin square in the heart of Lima. We just walked 5 minutes and entered tile-clad Lima's old town with reach in Spanish colonial architecture and palaces and...More
Stopped here as it was recommended as one of the best places for a pisco sour. Having been in the country club de Lima earlier was immediately disappointed. Very worn and tatty rather than old world charm. Sat on the outside terrace very little atmosphere...More
Stopped here for a Pisco Sour during our tour of downtown Peru. It was a fun hotel to walk through - the lobby is very antiquated and beautiful with a large domed stained glass ceiling. Enjoyable for a cocktail!
Even if you get a room in the inner courtyard, the faintest breeze will nave the window rattling all'night long. Rooms facing the main square are outright unthinkable. Athmospheric hotel in a strategic position but definitely run down. And not so clean.

The area where Gran Bolivar is located is reasonable but it does get a little dangerous the further you go from the square.Miraflores is more of seaside location but you need to take care there as well.
