After a long day in Machu Picchu and looking forward taking a nice shower....surprise! No hot water in the room, after changing the gas and waitting 3+hours NO HOT WATER! Mi wife and I had to shower in another room. The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived, spend 2 nights, on the second day they just changed the...

Gringo Bill's looks cozy and is clean but the enjoyment ends there. It is more like a hostel than a hotel, which is fine, but one should know that before checking in. It is open at every level, with many stairs inside and outside. The heater in my room was broken and I had no hot water. I was very...

Stayed here for one night April 2017 after our visit to Machu Picchu. Our room was 47. The lady at the front greeted us very nicely and was very polite and helpful. As we walked upstairs to our room, we could tell that the hotel was quite nice, every floor has unique things on the wall, has an overall good...

Stayed here for two nights and could not have been happier with the experience. Hotel is situated onet street away from the center of town. It's very unique and the rooms are situated in a labyrinthine building with beautiful mosaic floors. The rooms are cosy and the shower is amazing (probably the best we've had in Peru). Rooms have balconies...

Stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed with this quirky hotel. We had a lovely big room with balcony and everything we needed . The shower was very good and everywhere incredibly clean. The best breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Located in the main centre of town just a short stroll from station. Great value for money.

Easy walk from the station, just up from the main square, we were met by our host and taken to Gringo's. Pleasantly surprised by the snug look of the place, generous room size, easy staff and quirky layout. Best accomo and breakfast in 4 weeks travel of Peru and Cuba. Great value, sophisticated traveller feel. Stay here!!!

Room clean , located in the center of aguas calientes the breakfast is very good There was a very strong odor in the hostel....bad smelll but we think it was the smell of the river... if you can avoid sleeping at Aguas Calientes...the better...the town is smelly and there is nothing to do there...except to go to Macchu Pichu ....

Gringo Bill's was a very funky little hotel in the heart of Aguas Calientes. The staff was very, very accommodating on all levels. Our room was very nice, it was at the tip top of the building which was an adventure in and of itself! To get to the room you need to walk steps that go inside and outside...

We took the train into Aguas Calientes leaving Ollantytambo about sunset. Met by our guide in Aguas Calientes and easily guided to Gringo Bill's. Warm, friendly staff, good room and facilities. Great breakfast both mornings that we were there. Almost hidden on the side street but very close to everything we needed.

We were on a 2-day tour to Machu Picchu and our designated hotel in Aguas Calientes turned out to be a crummy, dirty, noisy, unpleasant cheap backpacker hotel. So we checked the Lonely Planet and found Gringo Bill's. It was a piece of heaven! It was clean, quiet, and a little quirky in that you go up a bunch of...
