Check in was 2pm, but I arrived at Hostal Los Andenes around 5pm. I was extremely agitated that they had no record of my reservation. I showed them a print out of the reservation I made three months prior and proof that I even paid a deposit. Maybe they thought I was a no show and gave out my room?...

We got bumped to this hostal because the other one they owned had problems with our room. Los Adenes was perfect, perfectly located between a couple of really good restaurants and right around the corner from the town square. Our room was nice, with hot water and clean. Nice garden and great value. We had absolutely no complaints.

We stayed there two nights, and then one more because the place was really good. The staff is nice, and kept our bags when we went to the Machu Picchu. There is free tea and internet (3 computers) in the rest area. The hotel is well located, and really calm. Our room was clean, big, with a table and two...

Room wasn't clean and there were bugs everywhere especially in the shower. The staff is weird (mother and son) which seem like they barelly speak...

We stayed in this Hostel for a couple of days before we went to Machu Picchu. It was so exciting, that we decided to go there again on the way back. The staff was friendly and the rooms are clean like no other we had for the last 30 days.

I stayed here in November 2014 and the room, shower etc were of good standard, however what made the place for us was the staff. They were amazing and went out of their way to help us call a Cusco number that we had trouble with. Would def recommend!

During my travel to Peru I stayed at a few Hostels and one Bed and Breakfast. Out of all the places I stayed at, Hostal Andenes was not only the cleanest, it was also the friendliest. When you get there the entrance looked small like most hostels. Once you walk in it feels like you're walking on a tree house...

In the center of town where congestion and dust predominate, but once you exit the darkish corridor leading back to the hotel it is a surprisingly different and bright universe. Rooms are arranged around a central garden that is carefully tended and includes herbs and edibles. There are benches and chairs outside the rooms so you can enjoy this oasis,...
