I got there and it said that the room had a river view, it didn't. I asked if I could get a room on the second floor (I wanted the view, it's the reason why i chose the hotel) , they told me I had to pay 15 dollars more. It took me three minutes to say yes and they...

My family stayed here for one night on the way to Machu Picchu. Very nice, clean rooms. Very convenient. Great staff. Can highly recommend. The hotel will store your bags while you travel to Machu Picchu. (There is a weight limit on the train, although our experience was that you will be OK as long as you limit it to one...

We stayed three nights in Ollanta. The first two nights, we were lucky to have spent at El Albergue, but unfortunately, they didn't have any space our last night. I chose Hotel Sol based on the photos online, but looks can definitely be deceiving! The room we had was dark and depressing with wall to wall deep red carpeting. The...

We chose this place mostly because it had a room that could accommodate our family of four. Arrived on a tricky day when the power had been turned off but it didn't interrupt breakfast. Pretty bare bones room and so-so breakfast but a good choice en route to MAPI. Ask for an upstairs room as there's no insulation between floors...

This place was awesome. You can hear the Rio Patacancha throughout the whole facility. Very relaxing. Pay for the premium room if available: it's worth it. You will be right on the river with a view of the Ollantaytambo fortress. The café where breakfast is served also has a great view right on the river. The front desk staff were...

We stayed here twice. once on our way to machu picchu and once on the way back from MP. Its an ok hotel, nothing great about the rooms. pretty basic. We initially had problems with hot water which was fixed once we complained. The staff are quite helpful and thats a big plus. They do their bit to help you....

Great hotel for just a one night stay. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Centrally located in the town of Ollantaytambo. Try to ask for a room with a river view, you will not regret it!!

Hotel rooms near river are beautiful. The triple rooms inside have beds from the 80s....like a hostel. Breakfast food, hot showers and beautiful flowers all around. Take taxi motorcycles worth every penny

Very nice room, balcony with a view across the creek to ruins. Sound of creek is ok once the drapes are closed Good bathroom and had a great hot shower on the first morning. Second morning unfortunately no hot water to my room. Buffet breakfast is ok snd you can order a choice of eggs. My omelette was pretyy good.

Sleeping with the sound of running water from the river beside of the hotel. Low season , so we had a very large room with 2 good mattresses and 1 old mattress. Hot water is very , very slow to show up in bathroom . Good service from front desk . Walking distance from train station
