Very nice place to stay with your family. Good environment, food, and very nice staff. I enjoyed my experience here. The only issue I had was that the wifi is extremely slow. Other than that, I have not complaints.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 2 February 2017

A bit of a later review was there in December 2014, but never too late, this place is unforgetable. When you first get off the train it looks like you're about to enter the station, that really worried me - and then it is a restaurant, then you go through the garden full of flowers and roses and hummingbirds. I...

This hotel is very unique-it's at a train station and how many times do you get to do that?! I would recommend this hotel as it is very convenient when arriving or departing by train and the main part of town is not too far. The grounds are very pretty and they brought in fresh greenery into our room everyday....

My daughter and I stayed at El Albergue after our trip to Machu Picchu. The train stopped right in front of the hotel, and we were happy to refuel at the hotel overnight. We loved everything about it, from the art work, charm and personality, to the outstanding food we enjoyed in the restaurant. We also loved the Pancha Manka...

Beautifully converted railway buildings, by an English lady. All the rooms are the old stations accommodation and storerooms, with creaky floorboards to boot. A very eco-friendly hotel, with a tranquil relaxing garden. The restaurant is good for both dinner and breakfast. The MP trains stop at around 7pm, but start up at 5am, so if you have a room facing...

I’ve just returned from SA and had the experience of this wonderful property and location. The hotel is wonderful! One exception is I would not stay in the rooms facing the front directly over the train station as you get the vibration of the trains. The property is a little dream IMO, great service, everyone was wonderful, they handled my...

A hotel that's part of the train station that takes you to your Machu Picchu tour. A hotel that's built around organic gardens. And a hotel with a gourmet restaurant whose ingredients come from the on-site garden. Doesn't seem possible that one hotel could offer so much. The layout and design of the rooms is incredibly cool. Grand luxury, trendy...

We stayed here one night and were super pleased. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was no TV in the room so it encouraged us to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the lovely gardens and scenery. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site was also excellent. I'd stay there again.

This is a very basic but cute bed and breakfast type hotel. At first I found the train whistle annoying then realized it didn't matter where in the town you were - you would be able to hear the train. The food is probably the highlight of the hotel so make sure to make reservations for dinner. Our stay included...

Reception Staff This hotel had the surliest front desk person that we encountered on our trip. Unwilling to make eye contact, unfriendly, irritated when we requested information and then when the hotel forgot to arrange our driver despite e-mail confirmation … no apology for the error. Other staff members The other staff members we encountered were very nice. The man...
