A most comfortable place, beautiful gardens and mountain views. Delicious restaurant meals, and breakfast included. Room spacious, bed comfortable. Easy access to train to Machu Picchu, and easy walk to village of Ollantaytambo where the streets and plaza are well worth wandering. Also, archeologic ruins right there - and an entry ticket also includes entries to other sites in the...

Lovely hotel right on the train station. Great helpful staff and very convenient for the town of Ollantaytambo and its ruins. Very clean and tidy with good breakfast choice. Would recommend to anyone with a night or more in Ollantaytambo.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to catch the train to Machu Picchu early in the morning. Ollantaytambo is a very quaint town that is still filled authentic Incan charm, so we wanted to experience the town prior to our trek to MP. El Albergue is a gorgeous hotel situated right next to the train, so it makes for a...

The hotel is a typical railway station You can hear the train horn; and the sound takes you to the past. For me was exciting. Indoor gardens to enjoy a happy hour. We book this trip with Peru For Less who gave us all the schedule 8 days for 7 nights hotels included in Lima-Cusco--Sacred Valley Flights with Lan and...

A little bit out of town but right on the station (ex station-master's house?) with door opening onto the platform. Despite this, the room (1) at the rear was quiet, overlooking lovely garden and the mountains. The jewel in the piece was the meal in the restaurant in the evening-wonderful. They even let us leave our bags for the day whilst...

This is a beautiful hotel at the rail station. Our room was a balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. The hotel is very convenient for the trains to Macchu Pichu but they are noisy which is the only drawback with the hotel. Can't have it both ways. Garden facing rooms likely a bit quieter Staff very pleasant and helpful. Arranged a...

Charming hotel, steps from train to Machu Picchu. Lovely gardens, helpful staff, delicious breakfast and great restaurant choice for dinner. Also easy walk to Ollantaytambo ruins and Inca town. Assistance with tickets, guide happily provided.

We had the most pleasant stay. Staff was very nice and helpful, the food is outstanding, and the hotel property is beautiful. After a day touristing around the area, it´s a nice place to come to relax. It is very peaceful and the vibe there is the best.

Stayed one night on our way to Maccu Picchu. Hotel is literally at PeruRail Station so just walk out onto platform and go. Hotel arranged for pick up and delivery from Cusco and we took advantage of having a tour of sites in Scared Valley from our guide Porfi which was very nice. Rooms are adequate and no television but...

This is a great place to stay. Amazing views, large beautiful rooms, great breakfast, very helpful staff, train station on the door step. This is the best place to stay there. It's waking distance to all the restaurants and bars.
