Location is impossible to beat for access to Machu Picchu. Hotel itself is very charming, its a historical building right at the train station. We had a room at the back of the building, so noise from trains wasn't an issue. Breakfast was excellent, and hotel restaurant is certainly one of the best in the whole of Sacred Valley. We...

This hotel is located right at the train station. We occupied one of the triple rooms upstairs in the back-facing away from the train station. It has a rustic feel, while providing a great bed with a personal heater for those cool Peruvian nights. A nice breakfast was included in the room rate. The restaurant at night provided a menu...

Our room was comfortable and spacious, but what made staying here so nice was the restaurant and the proximity to the train station. The people at the front desk were very helpful with every request we made...being at the train station meant we didn't have to wait in line to catch our train to Machu Picchu and the restaurant was...

Very different and strangely charming but uncomfortable. It is based in the train station which is cool for the train to Mach Pichu. Breakfast was nice and ordered to how you want it. I had three single beds for one traveler and it is next to the platforms so the trains were very noisy! and kept me awake as had...

Staying at this hotel was a must after we discovered it was situated right on the train station platform. How unique is that! The hotel, with its close and easy proximity to PeruRail, was the perfect place for our overnight stopover before our trip to and from Macchu Picchu by train. Having said that, to get to the town plaza...

We were thouroughly charmed with our lodging at the El Albergue Ollantaytambo and the location could not be more convenient. The review by lfpalmer said it so well... "It's 3 feet from the train, but not to worry, the last train is like 10 pm and... just a light and friendly toot." Beautiful gardens including organic food garden, surround the...

I was advised to have El Albergue pre-buy my Machu Picchu entrance tickets prior to my arrival in September. I will admit that I forgot to ask for the tickets (after many exhausting hours of travel from the US) the morning of my departure to Machu Picchu, BUT the desk did not offer me my tickets either. As a result...

Plus the rooms are wonderful with beautiful gardens. They serve a complete breakfast, included, and great lunches and dinners. they even have a 2 for 1 happy hour on the pisco...

This is a nice hotel right next to the train station. The hotel has a lot of charm, the rooms are well appointed and the gardens are well kept. The restaurant is excellent and is most likely the best place to eat in Ollantaytambo. The staff is very helpful and goes out of its way to make your stay comfortable....

It's 3 feet from the train, but not to worry, the last train is like 10pm and they're barely heard from the rooms anyway... just a light and friendly toot. You can leave through the restaurant to enter train and miss the line and the evil weighing of the luggage (supposed 5 kg/11 lb limit). Old-world beauty with modern comforts...
