Stayed in Hotel Sauce for 3 nights on way to and back from MAPI. B and B rather than hotel. Everything was excellent. You have the option to get products from the farm for breakfast (cheese, yogurt, jams, quinoa breakfast cereals). Roberto Luis the owner was very friendly. Great location to discover Ollantaytambo's market, local people in traditional attire, life...

My friend and I arrived from Cusco at 8.15pm. The women in charge was knitting on the couch when we arrived and was very reluctant to get up. We checked in and she pointed to the stairs. We were leaving early in the morning so she said she would give us a breakfast box which she would leave on the...

We're really sorry for your bad experience at our hotel. It won't happen any more. And for the "lady in charge" it was an alternate and she dosen't work with us any more. Best Regards

We stayed for two nights and found this a lovely simple place to stay. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent with homemade and local produce. The only negative was that the shower head could do with being replaced. Staff were delightful and helpful. We would recommend it.

This gem of a hotel combines all the great parts of a bed and breakfast with a high quality hotel, in a magnificent location. It boasts three stars.. but that is crazy. It should easily be four. We arrived late at night and were greeted by a warm and friendly gentleman who check us in. In no time we were...

I stayed in July, 2016. The hostal was cozy with a fireplace and couches in the common area that were used every night. My room was clean and very comfortable. I had a good night's sleep and a hot shower every morning, A hearty American style breakfast, including eggs cooked to order, was ready at the time that was specified...

It's called a "hostal", but it's definitely more like a hotel. Rooms were clean and the lobby was spacious and cutely adorned with traditional Peruvian decor. The service was great! The lady who checked us in recommended a great restaurant for us to eat dinner at. The breakfast buffet was simple with lots of regional fresh fruits and grains to...

This is a wonderful pension! The location is perfect. It is steps from the main square, less than 5 minutes from the ruins and less then 15 minutes from the train station. We stayed in Ollantaytambo for 4 nights and just our luck it was also the same time as the 4 day festival of El Señor Choquakillka. So the...

We arrived at SAUCE Hostal late last week, after leaving our B&B in Ollanta. Although the other B&B was the highest rated one on tripadvisor, we checked in and then checked out hours later due to the condition of the accommodations and the noise (the staff was very accommodating in helping us find another place to sleep). We arrived at...

We stayed one night at Hostal Sauce while visiting the Sacred Valley. Clean, comfortable room with a view of the ruins. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot water, helpful staff. It is walking distance from the train station but be advised that it is all uphill so if you have luggage and/or still weary and sore from your hike up...

My mom and I loved everything about our stay. The rooms were really clean and charming and we had a great view of some ruins from our window. The beds were super comfortable. The location was great, it was close to the center plaza and to the train station. The owner, Pablo, was so nice and accommodating. He gave us...
