We stayed at Picaflor Tambo before our trip to Machu Picchu. Lilian was very helpful in giving us information so we could plan our trip. She helped arrange a taxi from the Cusco airport straight to Ollantaytambo a tour of the sacred valley, and more. We had a couple days in Ollantaytambo, and it was perfect. Many people focus only...

I was travelling with my father and father in law and we got a 3 bed room. The staff were absolutely amazing!!! The free breakfast consisted of bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, fresh made juice! It was very clean and steps from the plaza which had everything you would need! I would definitely stay here again!

We were 3 families of 4 and we rented all the hotel. We stayed from 12/26 - 12/28 2016 and had a great time. Ms. Lilian was very nice and she was always attend to anything we needed. We had a problem in one of the rooms with the hot water and Ms. Lilian was ready to help us solve...

On our way to Machu Picchu we stopped in Ollantaytambo for one night and stayed at this lovely guesthouse (it was recommended to us during our travels). We had a difficult time finding it, as we did not have a local map, nor did we know anything more than "there's a little gully with water going by the front door"....

My husband and I stayed in August 2015 for 1 night to take the train to Machu Picchu. It was a difficult place to find because it was in a small pedestrian only cobblestone gully, plus we arrived at dark so it made it even harder to find. It's cute little guesthouse. The rooms are good sizes but not very...

I stayed here with some friends for 4 nights around our visit to Machu Pichhu in november 2016. The rooms are very ok , the breakfast very good but the best part are the people, very friendly and warm.

Our stay at Picaflor Tambo was perfect. The location is just a block or so from the plaza, up a pedestrian only cobblestone street with a stream running down the side of it in a little canal. The guesthouse is very quiet and very clean, it's obvious that the family that owns this takes great pride in their property and...

Really nice place in Ollantaytambo. Hostel has a small number of rooms. As we visited it during off-season time we were the only travelers there. Place is really cozy and clean. Double rooms are just awesome. Especially the one called "inti". Huge, having window, two small balconies, fresh lilies and big bathroom. This is one of the best rooms we...

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. I loved the views of the mountains & the granaries. We did not have any noise issues as some others have mentioned. We were there on Wed, Thurs, & Fri. The noise issue is perhaps on weekend only???The beds were comfortable, bathroom adequate. Breakfast was simple, but good. Staff was very helpful...

driving through town as we were just arriving into Ollantaytambo, I was concerned as many places appeared down right shabby to say the least. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Picaflor hotel in Ollantaytambo about 10 days ago for a couple of nights. I believe it is rated a 4 star hotel. It is charming and...
