very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and everyone was happy with their meal for both quality and price. I liked it and would have liked to spend longer here. Nice location in the sacred valley

The gardens are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are mostly clean and they do make a good effort to touch up paint and use nice bedsheets and we had new carpeting in the room we stayed in. We did find a few hairs here and there on the sofa and in the bathroom but nothing significant. Overall we were happy with...

We stayed one night in a deluxe room. We loved the buildings and gardens. This hotel is built in a convert Fransiscan 16th century monastery, and we thought it was beautiful. Very quiet and comfortable. The service from the staff was excellent. We thought food for dinner and breakfast was excellent. We had a large double story room, with bedroom...

The best of this hotel is the location in Sacred valley with mountains in front and back, nice common sitting room with pictures , frescos and vintage objects that have been redone and lovely gardens in front and inside courts. The rooms were small to average in size and the showers were poorly designed so water run in the rest...

The location is excellent and it is extremely quiet. The rooms are not that big but the beds are very comfortable and the bath room quite spacious. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are good. In the evening, the menu could offer a little more options. I would go back to Peru just to stay there!

This hotel is certainly a good choice for a stay in Urubamba. Clean, quiet, large enough so that children can run around. Breakfast buffet is okay, however, as the rest of the hotel as well, nothing extraordinarily special.

Lovely former monastery where care has been taken to maintain its character. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful and the courtyards make lovely places to sit and relax. The gardens are well maintained and delightful too. The staff were helpful although they did seem a bit short staffed when we visited and the barman seemed to be helping out...

Ideal retreat after dusty days trekking and travelling in the Sacred Valley. Good accommodation and facilities with beautiful central courtyard and grounds. Not much in Urubamba itself but San Agustin Monasterio is a good central base for nearby Ollantaytambo and onward travel to Aguas Calientes and Machu Piccho, as well as fairly close points of interest such as Salinas salt...

The setting and architecture are beautiful, very nicely decorated and spacious rooms. Clean and well kept. Staff are very attentive and concerned about one's stay and comfort.. One of our party received a very effective local treatment for altitude sickness. Food was "home style" cooking. A good value.

After staying in some very nice places, we found this hotel, as quaint as it is, very rustic to say the least. Small rooms, weak WIFI, no amenities, sweet town of Urubamba. It was ok and it is 30 minutes from the train to Machu Picchu.
