We had a very good experience at this hostel (despite some bad reviews on this website). The atmosphere is very good, and the staff is super friendly with great service. They accidentally overbooked the female only rooms, so I had to spend one night in the mixed rooms, but they gave me that night for free. The bathrooms are not...

Really not a nice place. I travel a lot but this hostel is really not great. We take a 17 dorm with 20 beds.(I know it's a lot but I expect not much) There was no sheets on the beds we have to search our pillows and sheds from other beds. I don't think they was fresh.there was blood on...

We stayed one night and it was very average. The hostel had a lack of lights that actually worked and the same with the showers. The beds were good but they need to seriously sort out the squeaky doors. Every time the door is opened you are awoken by a loud screech. It was cheap and done the job for...

The floor ground is great, nice areas to hang out with people, the staff is cool but the rest is horrible : everything is dirty, the room, the toilets, the showers, everything. Also no electric plug in the room i was in (what????) go there if you dont have a choice or if its the only thing you can afford

Very good location (they have a bus stop in the frontside), excellent value for money (is one of the biggest hostel and also the cheapest in the tourist area), the Hostel is newly remodeled by the new management and they have air conditioning in all rooms (which for us was very important, because Montevideo is very humid and hot) It...

The hostel lobby itself is very cool! A great structure, beautiful chilling lobby, big kitchen and places to eat, but they have a lot of improvements to make... We met with a guy who has lived there for 2 years and assure us it was a really good place, so I assume we came at a bad time. We booked...

Nice place, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, so it attracts amazing people. Staff is friendly, and every night you will have the chance to try the famous Asado (barbecue) made by Federico. I will definitely come back here.

I decided to book a couple nights here despite the bad reviews (I think a lot of people have too high standards). The good: we stayed during the week so no one was there, the staff was helpful and welcoming, the balcony area was great to hang out. The bad: I got sick from the mold in my room, most...

All of the below reviews are entirely accurate. The place has so much potential with a really nice common area and decent kitchen. However the place, particularly the bathrooms, are filthy. The descriptions of the facilities on hostel bookers/hostel world is inaccurate and the staff are careless and unfriendly (except for 1 whom I feel the place would fall apart...
