Near the downtown and the historical city. Clean and new. Very cared. You can enjoy visiting the old city and the Mercado del Puerto, just 15 minutes walking from the hotel. It is surronded by bars and restaurants

This hotel, I guess has been recently renovated? It's located inside a shopping center, so you have to almost enter inside of the building before realizing the hotel has a private side door entrance and the receptionist/concierge has to push a button in order for the door to open. Not usually a problem...but it would be nice if there was...

We stayed three nights. The front desk staff and housekeeping went out of their way to help us. Shout out to Valerie. We were a group of 4 gay men and we didn't feel uncomfortable at any time. Situated in an historical but dangerous neighbourhood. Surrounding restaurants were overpriced and subpar food. Great view of the city on the roof...

I spent 4 nights and 5 days at this hotel. Pros 1) Location is across from a park with an outdoor restaurant and centrally located. close to Independence Square most places within walking distance 2) Free WiFi in the room and worked reasonable well 3) Breakfast buffet was good with a variety of choices although the choices did not change...

Small but nicely updated and decorated rooms. Friendly helpful front desk staff, who went out of their way to answer questions and found me an electrical converter when I realized I had forgotten to bring one. Located directly across the street from the park - excellent place to relax with a beer, coffee or snack at the cafe while watching...

Lovely hotel which once you get checked in you get a pleasant surprise with spacious rooms and nice bathroom. The view from the room is nice taking in the square below. The staff at reception are fantastic and went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our flights, the guy at reception rang the airline...

My experience was good overall with a few little issues. The refrigerator wasnt cold enough. There were no instructions on how to use the phone so when I got a message recording I didn't know how to retrieve it. With the exception of the person who couldn't tell me how to get messages, all of the staff throughout the property...

H. President is a fine choice to Montevideo. Recently reformed, the rooms are fine, clean, good shower, everything you need for a good stay. The staff polite and helpful. Regarding the entrance just pay attention there is signalization in front of it and don't scare yourself about the reception hall: tiny, the hotel is much better. No doubt if I...

Terrific location..., very good breakfast, with variety for every taste. Helpful staff every where. Make sure you get the exact address or you'll miss it because signage is very small at street level. The upper floors view rooms are that..., WITH VIEWS!

First, the Presidente is hard to find. There are big letters about 6 floors up, but at ground level a tiny sign on the sidewalk. This is not your average hotel. And its unique in that it's very tall and narrow. On my floor only 6 rooms. My room had an excellent view of Plaza Juan Pablo Fabini and beyond...
