I've been visiting Suva for work and to visit family and friends for years and always try to stay at 5 Princes Hotel when I can. Because it's a small hotel and the former home of owner Tarei Weeks' family, there's a lovely 'homey' feel to the place. It's surprisingly quiet despite being close to a main road. The colonial...

Five Princes is nicely located, about 10-15 minutes cab ride from Suva center with a magnificent view from the terrace. The rooms are nice, as are bathrooms. The charm of the hotel is that it is an old refurbished building. Unfortunately, the downside of this is that walls are quite thin and you can hear your room neighbors. Breakfast is...

Our room has great view, beautiful architect, spacious... feeling like a a governor myself. The location is fantastic, it is only 3min taxi trip to the maintown. Breakfast is not so great. But staffs are very friendly.

Here I was out on their open veranda waiting for dinner and I hear the most amazing voices singing in Fijian. So, I go next door to the Assemblies of God Church and sit in on the men's choir practice. Never have heard such beautiful voices!

In Suva on business we chose the Five Princes for the opportunity to have some work space in one of their garden villas. This is a charming colonial oasis in the midst of bustling Suva, only a short distance from its centre. Our villa is set amidst lush landscaped gardens freshened up by the continuous rain! No opportunity to take...

You can treat this place as idiosyncratic and charming or a tad run down and not an international hotel - all depends on your state of mind and expectations. I stayed a week and found it a home from home. I was moved to the Villa which was quite a bit bigger than the room I had booked which was...

We got one of the nice bures, and really enjoyed staying in a house that felt like home - many small extras like a toaster, MTV channel for the children and not to mention real ground coffe with a coffee press. Having travelled the pacific for a month with two children, this was the first place we stayed with these...

On arrival, musty dusty room, sticky cup, saucer and spoon, hairs on pillow cases on bed, broken seats by the pool which also needed a clean. Meals ok except breakfast which was forgettable. Staff friendly. No comfortable chairs, did not live up to 4 star expectations. Constant loud music from next door church. Overall basic and big disappointment especially for...

I love this piece of gem.. we stayed at Bure 2 and its a nice small home for us. I love the friendly and down-to-earth staff. They have an outdoor pool but not cleaned up when my kids decided to take an afternoon dip... but then it was fun cleaning the debris for a while... The Bure have a kitchnette...

We rented the large two bedroom bungalow and were very impressed with the size of the place. However, the dishes in the kitchen were dusty and the floors had several patches that were sticky so I had to use a towel to wash them. It was very hot and the air conditioners in each bedroom worked well but the one...
