Great rooms, ambiance, safe, good breakfasts. Nice to be out of the center of the city, but close enough to get to for $1.00 on the bus. I loved watching the ships coming in and out, and the sea breezes around the lovely pool. Also enjoyed meeting other travellers and not being isolated as you sometimes are in a Hotel...

Stayed here for two nights when all the local hotels are full. What a find! This is a high-end, sophisticated residence right on the water. The first night was spent in a pleasant room at the back of the house. It had a large, walk-in bathroom, pure fiji products, spare towel for the pool and bathrobe. The house helper will...

Stayed here for the third time and not disappointed. Location is perfect, great swimming pool with supermarket and fresh bakery across the road. Fantastic shower in the room we stayed in with windows overlooking Suva Harbour. Best place to stay in Suva by far.

We couldn't get in, couldn't get in contact with the owner. Finally got in only to be told she overbooked and made to feel uncomfortable ( her mistake ) Absolute drama from the start and didn't get much better. Breakfast was not what was advertised, our family got robbed of $5k worth of goods and are still waiting for insurance...

I was a bit apprehensive with this booking given the couple of reviews below where there was no one around on arrival, and I got more worried when no one was home when we arrived, but once we got in everything was fantastic (the usual caretaker was away). Sangeeta the owner is a very welcoming host who makes you feel...

I would recommend this home stay to anyone thinking of travelling to Suva. It's a little out of Suva, but only a short taxi ride from the city. The views are magic, the rooms are clean and very comfortable and the host will make sure that you are looked after, including making you coffee they way you want while you...

Vale Ni Tadra is ideally located right on the Suva Harbour waterfront at Lami a township 4-5 kms from the City Centre. The views across the water from the garden setting are excellent enjoyed by an outdoor breakfast in the tropical environment. Downside is that the homestay is located on a major arterial road with trucks, cars and buses using...

While tripping around Viti Levu decided to try this B&Bs Just on the out skirts of Suva, which made it very handy .When booking was informed there was a locked gate in the entrance, and to txt when we were there. Directions were very good and we phoned when outside the gate. NO problems the gate moved across and we entered in....

We have been to three beach resorts in Fiji in two weeks and we found Vale Ni Tadra truly a 'House of Dreams' as it is so aptly named - a comfort that felt like home. It has a very relaxed atmosphere - a nice, comfortable break from the beach and sun. Ramiza, the homestay manager, looked after us and...

“Given the location on the major road would suggest a waterfront room to minimise the likelihood of any road noise from the buses especially.”

“Rooms by the ocean are very nice with french doors leading to the common balcony/roofed veranda, but does not have much privacy when guests are around (you can draw the curtains in). Garden rooms are smaller but nice - you can hear the street noise if you do not use the aircon and draw the curtains in.”
