Other than being an ocean front/view property, there is nothing special about this place. The towels and sheets were dirty when I got to my cabin. I asked for clean linens but only got clean towels. There were no toiletries (soap, shampoo) provided. The owner did provide an app which was somewhat helpful in providing information about Tahiti. The kitchen,...

My husband and I stayed here 4 nights and rooms were clean and comfortable, however could use some tlc - paint in bathrooms, drapes cleaned. there is a very small and not real cold fridge in the bungalows - but there is a large one in the communal kitchen (but it was stinky and needed cleaning) as well as there...

Stayed here twice during the surf comp Billabong Pro. The place is about 25-30 min drive to Teahupoo so if you don't have a car you will have to take 2 buses or lifts. They do have bikes you can use but takes a bit over 1 hour to cycle there. I really enjoyed having the communal kitchen and dinning...

We only stayed one night on our tour around the island. The place needs a little TLC but we did find it clean and comfortable. The room was tastefully furnished with a modern bathroom. We enjoyed sitting out on our porch overlooking the sea with the company of the owners friendly dogs. The communal kitchen was good and everything you...

I stayed in a cabana as a couple, and the private room as a single. No surprise, the cabanas are far nicer. Clean, simple, and near the water. The gardens are spacious and the community kitchen is large. My only knock against this place is that it's far from Papeete, which I knew already. Which means a car rental is...

We stayed at Punatea Village for four nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are decently furnished with a deck overlooking a rocky beach to the sound of surf. The gardens are attractive and well cared for. The swimming pool is small and there is a communal kitchen which was once a restaurant. The kitchen isn't well equipped, is quite...

The first thing that must be said is that this hotel looks better on its website than it is in reality! We booked this accommodation because it was cheap by Tahiti standards and we were satisfied with the service we received for the price we paid. The private bungalows are lovely. They all contain two double beds, an ensuite bathroom...

“The kitchen and dining area seem to be used by local people for parties at weekends. They are very friendly and welcoming. A bungalow furthest away from the kitchen would be good for this reason.”
