Great Hotel in downtown Moroni and as the name suggests the place has a beautiful calm and peace about it. We have very fond memories of sitting on their terrace for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was prefect with a good shower, hot water and a comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for one night enroute to Moheli. We had an excellent welcome and the staff made great efforts to patiently communicate with us via the translation app on our phone. The outside garden dining area is very pleasent and the Tapas menu was very tasty. Our room was clean and comfortable and because we were leaving very early the next morning the staff made fresh crepes and a flask of coffee for us to have in our room before we left. Two weeks later although not staying there we had Tapas again one evening and also our last lunch in Comoros... delicious fresh fruit salad with chocolate ice cream. Highly recommended.

We were taken to "Jardin de la Paix"by a driver we had hired for the day to take us on a tour of the island. Sayad, our driver highly recommended that we stop to dine here. It was the best meal we had on the island! The setting was tranquil, set in a private garden courtyard keeping out the sounds of the busy city. It was like a hidden oasis. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the service was exception. We had lovely fresh salads to start and then the freshest fish served with local vegetables, accompanied by a lovely French wine and finished off sharing a Tiramisu (could have been in Italy!) with the best espresso coffee we had the whole time we were there. Excellent! I highly recommend it!

This review is for the restaurant / cafe and not the hotel as we stayed elsewhere. I wish we had stayed here. Simple and charming outdoor cafe and restaurant. The menu has a few selections…beef, chicken, fish either grilled, curry, etc. fish was cooked perfectly and was delicious. It was also a rare place to sit and enjoy a cold beer. Two thumbs up

Well coming to Comoros, to be honest I don’t expect much! This small hotel does have the basic stuff, hot water, nice bed and functional AC. The room is clean and the staff is trying their best to speak English. It will not be fair to use international hotel chain’s standard to rank this small hotel, so I give it a four star rating. The hotel does provide a fair decent breakfast with French baguette, egg omelet and baguette French toast. There is a small pizza joint just across the road! They do have decent pizza with decent price! Go and try it if you decide to stay in!

This is not a luxury and leaves much to be desired since there really isn’t WiFi in the rooms, and the rooms are very basic...they are good for sleeping only. While the hotel is basic, the staff are very friendly and do everything to try and help. However, be aware that only a couple of them speak English, so it would be good to learn some French. Overall, while the hotel is basic and lacks luxury, it is important to realize this is the Comoros and options are quite limited, and this place is one of the better options.

Τhe hotel is impeccably clean and offers a quite good breakfast despite the scarcity of several commodities in this country. It is also very centrally located. I stayed twice in this hotel. The first time I stayed in a spacious air-con ‘superior’ room that was facing the street and had traffic noise 24/24. I had headache also 24/24. The second time I stayed in a much cheaper and smaller room at the back. It only had a fan and it was much warner and darker but not noisy. The staff seemed very friendly but, to my surprise, they refused to give me any info on public transport since I was not using the overpriced taxi services they offered. The otherwise nice guy who was sitting next to the reception didn’t even tell me where the bus terminal is saying that he only gives info on private taxi rides. Another very important issue. The authorities in the airport ask for a hotel reservation in paper. The email on the smartphone was not enough. I was not aware of it as the hotel did not warn me. It took several hours to sort this out at the airport where there is no wifi and no printing facility but somehow the hotel got informed and a driver came with the reservation paper after a couple of hours. In the meanwhile, I was offered other accommodation possibilities (probably including a commission) which I didn’t take as well as a possibility to bribe the officer to let me exit the airport.…

Ela, a Moroni guy, is a trustworthy, decent, reliable and well-connected driver/guide who can even help you with problems regarding visa on arrival and missing baggage using his airport contacts. He charges fair prices for airport transfers and round-island tours in his own small car. He can usually be found around this hotel, or can be contacted via the reception or on +269 3243539. We used him on several occasions in Oct 2019.

Basic room with little comfort , but very clean ! Clean like the whole hotel ! Included breakfast is good , and you can enjoy it on the lovely terrace in front of the hotel ! But it's a pity that the 'garden' behind the hotel is not well maintained and not welcoming at all . The prices are correct , but I did not like that they add 3% if you pay by Visa card ! And I would have liked a few more channels on TV (only 5 or 6 african channels available , without any interest ).

Professionally and smartly run small hotel in the center-north of Moroni. Friendly and helpful management. Some 8 rooms or so. A/C (EUR 10/night) and warm water available (at [short] times unavailable due to electricity issues in Moroni). Basic and clean rooms. Credit cards appear to possibly be accepted (I did pay in cash, though). Good breakfast provided, and truly excellent daily and à la carte lunch and / or dinner available. Serves booze. Caters primarily to a francophone audience, so if you do not belong to this exclusive “club” you may need to make yourself heard a bit... A professional tour company is associated with the hotel and located right next to it - it can help you to organize tailored tours of the island (at a price – we’re talking about the Comoros…). - A good and recommended choice in Moroni (where choices are rather limited, to be sure).…
