The hostel itself is what you expect, but the staff is next level. I really felt like I was leaving my friends when it was time to checkout. George and Justine (in particular) were top notch. Also, I loved the outdoor space, specifically in the back. A great place to relax and digest the day's events. If you want to...

I cannot recommend this hostel enough. Milingona is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. Other than the beds being comfortable, and the rooms being spacious, Milingona welcomes guests into a community. Amongst the citrus trees and grape vines there is a small bar where guests can meet and enjoy a beer or their welcome shot of...

I loved this hostel! I booked one night here and ended up staying 3 more! The staff knows all about Albania and Tirana and went above and beyond to make my stay fantastic. The hostel is close to just about everything in the city, and is a good place to relax after a day out in the city. There are...

After a pretty cold entry (price on my booking was lower than they asked at the reception) enjoyed my one-week stay at Milingona (meaning: ant). Great to have a (free) bike at your disposal. Some of the staff socialize with the guests. Interesting discussions about the 'old' days of communism. Facilities and breakfast were all right. Information about onward transportation...

This hostel is in a convenient location, and has a great panoramic view of the mountains from their large balcony. Clean comfortable and social. Big kitchen and common areas. Has a popular resident cat, Machi, who will watch you closely with her hypnotic eyes and will cry until you share your food with her:-) Owners are very helpful with advice...

Cute, clean and cosy hostel with super friendly and helpful owners/managers. Not too far from main square, perhaps a 15-miute walk. There's a patio and covered balcony for sitting outside and a spacious living room/kitchen.

Do you know that feeling when travel and stay in a family's house? So, that's is Milingona's feeling! Went party with some guests, with people from staff, learned about the Albania Culture, about the Flag (Julie, the Owner, is gonna give a whole awesome lesson about the meaning), learned how to play Backgammon (or "Tava", the albanian world for it)...
