Once upon a time this place was most probably nice and clean, now it's disgusting dirty, with rotten carpet and bathroom. The cleaning is a joke and the house keeping should be fired. In Covid times we had to fumigation the room every time we sleep, there was not materes protection and seems like the room was at least ten years old

I would like to express my deepest disappointment of the restaurant service staff of 6aTo hotel. Had my wedding there soon. It started when we were given a final price per email for the covers (menu, cork/alcohol fee, welcome drink, etc.) for all the guests which I agreed on and paid. A week or two before the wedding went to the place to confirm the details with the staff and to add some changes in the menu (due to some changes in the guest list). I was told that the welcome drink fee is NOT included in the price I had paid and had got per email by the manager of the place, although I was confirmed in written about it. So far, so good, didn't agree with it, but still paid it after some arguing. The real issues began in the very day of the wedding. The welcome drink was set up for 14:30h , it was a very sunny and warm day. When the guests arrived at place, they found that not only all the welcome drinks were put on a metal (!) plate completely in the sun (resulting in the sparkling wine literally boiling, together with the glasses it was put in), but also all other drinks put in advance on the tables were hot. Cold ones were rejected by the staff upon request, as well as ice! 2 of the tables were put in the sun although I specially asked and was confirmed by the staff that all tables will be in the shadow! That's not all! One of the tables, for an unknown reason, wasn't served with ANY drinks, even upon couple of times of requests to do so - neither alcohol, nor non-alcoholic drinks were served and were respectively rejected for, again, unknown reason. The peak came when I wanted to talk to the waiters and ask what is the reason for this table not being served and I was yelled at by the main waiter Angel not to teach him how to do his job. To contribute to the whole humiliation picture, the other waiter (whose name I didn't understand) asked me (the groom!) to clean some sh*t that has been done by one of my guests on the floor (something that I didn't even respond to)! At the end of the event when I paid what was due the waiters insolently asked for a tip although their behaviour throughout the whole day/evening didn't even deserve paying what was due. As a conclusion, my sincere recommendation would be to avoid that restaurant and its staff Angel + the second waiter

I spent 3 days in this hotel and this is a beautiful little paradise. Staff is very warm and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and spa is perfect. Small but just big enough to relax yourself. The restaurant serves great quality food and the terrasse is paradise with a great view over the mountains. 100% I will go back there for a break

I stayed here with my wife and child in August 2019. For Bulgaria the hotel was quite pricey and definitely did not feel like a four star hotel, which is what it claims to be. We were given a room on the second floor which was really an attic and informed there was no lift in the hotel. Having carried the cases up to the second floor I discovered that the door to the room opened onto and banged the bottom of the bed and the ceiling was so low I was in danger of banging my head. I complained and was given a better room on the first floor with a balcony. (Only accept a room on the first floor if you can). The food in the restaurant in the evening was good but pricey for Bulgaria. The breakfast on the other hand was poor with very limited choice and the waiter got our orders wrong in any event and did not seem particularly interested in serving us.

Considering the great location of the hotel thats the only good thing about it ! The service and the stuff of the hotel are the most unfriendly and unprofessional i’ve ever seen in my entire life! The wedding i was attending there ended up with huge overcharge for the family , the stuff lied to them about the food, drinks etc! I absolutely will never recommend this place to anyone !

We stayed here for a family wedding. We met Nice staff, who gave us good food, and overall we had a good experience. Taxi drivers can’t find it though, but nice peaceful place in the forest, well worth a visit.

Very disappointed! The hotel is nice but staff absolute joke!Except for the receptionist. The arrogant boldet waiter or owner of the place(he acted as if he is) made us feel intimidated.Price of the food overrated. The spa needs updating.Sauna and steam room only on request but not as hot as they should be.We paid for extra bed, they provided us with a mattress on the floor.Builders knocking and hammering next to the rooms.Breakfast very limited and if you ask for more coffee you need to pay!!!For £100 a night you’d expect unlimited coffee..Don’t go there,it’s not worth it.Nicer places all over the world.Service in Bulgaria is the worse.

The place is set in a beautiful location right next to a forested mountain with many hiking paths. The design, inside and out, are nice and the garden is lovely. Lady at the reception was very nice. That being said, we were a bit disappointed in terms of value for money. The rooms smelled of smoke (we asked for another, but all seem to suffer from it to a degree), the carpet was stained and the spa area is a bit grungy and outdated. The waiter was somewhat unfriendly (may have been the language barrier), which made us decide to go out to dinner after all. All in all: it could do with an update.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful environment, with green pine trees all around. The garden is small but picturesque, with roses and two arbours. The food is quite good. The manager and the other staff could be more helpful and open to suggestions. It's not the customer's responsibility to tell them what is to be expected from them. I haven't tried the spa facilities, but there were no complaints.

I booked the whole hotel (two nights) for a bunch of friends coming to visit me. The general attitude of the people working (the kind lady bartender is the only different person in this hell) is arrogance even if you spend a lot of money there, they simply don't care about your needs, especially the manager. It made me feel bad since the beginning before my friends came. And then, icing on the cake, they didn't write down there were four guests in the suite, therefore they thought to let sleep two of them in the same way as dogs: on mattresses on the floor! Insane! Is it a 4 stars hotel?
