The hostel has a set of private rooms in an apartment building a few blocks away, it's quiet, clean and convenient. The staff is considerate, anticipates your needs before you ask and very helpful. They pretty much helped me plan my 3 weeks in Bulgaria.
This was the first hostel we stayed in before out Interrail trip - perfect for what we wanted, helpful staff, laid back atmosphere, decent breakfast, offers of day trips, one of the better hostels we stayed in on our whole trip.

Best thing to do is take the metro. Just find the Palace of Justice and it's a few feet away. It's the cheapest way but if you're worried about your flight just ask the reception and they'll ring a taxi for you.
