Only stayed one night on business but would have been delighted to have remained longer. Less than a 15 minute Taxi ride from Sofia International Airport which cost 12 Lev (6 Euro), the Hotel is nicely located about 5km from the centre of the city. There's a 24 hour garage and small supermarket very close-by. Check-in was fast and efficient...

Very friendly staff. Location not so good. The room was o.k. but cold inside because the air condition did not work. There is a spa, hairdresser, business hall, bar, etc. We like the terrace where it´s possible to smoke and stay in the sun. Breakfast was poor.

It's clean enough, but a little depressing and kind of noisy at night. Price and location are good however. The restaurant next door, Soup house, which is owned by the same people, (and doubles as their concierge desk) is pretty good.

Stayed at this place in the 3rd week of May... The place looks big as compared to other 4 star hotels... but not sure that its a 4 star..the rooms are OK, clean but old. The restaurant is good though, serves good meals with fresh ingredients... The only solace.. Close to the dkmitrov metro for a quick ride to,the center.

I chose this hotel as it is easy to access when you are coming by car, it has parking, ( however it is not garded and it seemed to be used by local people working in the surrounding buildings). I got a room with a nice view to the mountains (and to the car which I appreciated). The neighbourhood was...

Not bad place from the last century. Sofia is not very modern place at all, however some global hotel chains are already there with exceptional service and cleanness. So it's really strange to see that local hotels like Vega is not trying to compete with them. 2 good things in this hotel are - mattress quality and price vs other...

Signing the hotel went smoothly and without complications. I got a room on the second floor, but it was facing the main street, which has been under a lot of traffic and the resulting noise. At my request for a quiet room, they gave me a new room to the sixth floor, where it was much more peaceful. In the...

Been visiting Hotel VEGA for the second time, this time 4 nights. Restaurant is very good, good food and good wine, but closed one night, nobody could tell why, or when it would open. Gym is open between 09:00 and 21:00, so no chance for an early workout. The massage saloon seems very nice, but there was no staff in...

The hotel is located close to a subway station from which you can get to the center in 10 minutes. It also has a large ground parking as well as underground parking. Rooms are spacious, very clean. There is a nice bar at the first floor if you want to hang out or meet somebody. There is free Wi-Fi all...

I had a 3-night stay here after coming from a 5-star hotel in the Philippines and a new 4-star hotel in Sofia. Vega is competitively 4-star; it's opportunity lies in renovation/upgrades. The building has old interior and overall the rooms have old furniture as well. It is clear that the hotel is working diligently on upgrading this; the bathroom is...
