Good, very small hotel in central position in Sofia with easy access of many tourist attractions. Good bedroom(though very brown decor) and bathroom though no sliding door on the shower. A good self-service buffet breakfast with the additional offer of scrambled eggs (breakfast included in price) and when we ate there one evening, it was good food. The staff are...

We stayed at The House overnight at the beginning of October and I would definitely stay there if am visiting Sofia again. The location is perfect - across the street from the National Palace of Culture, considered to be the exact center of the city - from here all major attractions are within walking distance, which, having in mind the...

Absolutely wonderful hotel! Outstanding, efficient and friendly service and staff. Rooms beautifully appointed and immaculate. Delightful breakfast. Charming and delectable outdoor restaurant. Staff offered to pack breakfast sandwiches for us since we had very early flights. Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city. Free internet & hotel is able to arrange transportation to/from the airport. Wholeheartedly recommend...

After reading so many good reviews of this guest house and knowing the location very well, we were both looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately, even after confirming our arrival time, we were left stranded at the airport with nobody to pick us up as arranged. After calling the guest house several times and getting no answer we had to...

Firstly, let me say that the name listed here is different from that on all the booking websites and also the name used at the hotel. I suspect that either the name was recently changed, or it is the Bulgarian translation. The current name is "The House" or "Hotel - Restaurant The House" Good location off the lower end of...

Since my train was 2 hours late, I arrived at the hotel at 01:00 at night. I must say that this is not a hotel, but a guest house. There was not a reception, but the owner was kind enough to notify some people in a parking lot across the street to wake him up if they see somebody. Anyway,...

This hotel is in a central area of Sofia, near the Palace of Culture and Vithosha Boulevard. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is very abundant and various. The qualifying aspect of the accommodation is the owner’s courtesy that allowed us to have a good holiday.

This little hotel looks nothing from the outside, but get inside and its a different story. We had a lovely room around the back which match the photos on the booking.com website. We also used the transfer from the airport provided by the hotel, which we would not recommend. Although it was useful to be taken to the hotel by...

I'm a bit reluctant to review this wonderful little place because it might be better to keep it a secret. It is just off the nice shopping avenue of Sofia, on a relatively quiet side street. The owners are delightful and very accommodating. The rooms are small but are spotlessly clean, comfortable and affordable and the cafe has a large...
