This is a beautiful hostel in an excellent location. The staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel at ease and welcome straight away. The comfy setting, tea rooms and cats give it a really cosy feel and make it unique to any other hostels I have stayed in. It is very much like a home from home and the...

Pros : guest service amazing, they are very friendly. Nice decoration and common areas. I love cats and they have some, so I loved that. Cons : not far from the old town, but the neighborhood is a bit weird. Beds make noise when moving. Showers could be improved. Locks in toilet would be nice. Quality price is perfect.

Hello Hugo, Thanks for your review and the kind comments about the decoration and customer service. Sorry that you felt the neighbourhood was a bit weird. Our street is one of the more affluent areas of Bucharest. We've just come in as new owners and we're in the process of completely revamping the hostel. We're installing pretty much new everything...

This place just feels like a home away from home, in the best possible way. Dan and Jason, the owners, are great people and are very dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. You can tell it's not just a job for them, it's a passion. The tea house is amazing, I must have had about twenty different...

Great place to meet people from all over and even locals who come in for some tea! Sam and Dan have made this place feel cozy and welcoming for solo travellers such as myself or groups. Strong community feeling and I will definitely stay interested in how this new place continues to grow.

My friend and I stayed at Podstel Doors Hostel for 2 nights, and simply loved it. As soon as you come through the entrance, you get that rare feeling of being home again. Not in a bad way like having to go back home after your travels of course, but the feeling of finally finding that little haven of positivity...

I stayed at Podstel Doors for New Years eve 2017. We had a blast. There was a cool, chill out party in the tea room with lots of international people and a small band playing. This was by far, a very good beginning of the year. As I designer I really loved the combination of styles this place has. From...

Podstel is one of the best hostels I've come across in my travels. The new owners (Dan, Sam and Jase) are cracking hosts... they do not hesitate to help and already have a great knowledge of the city. The hostel itself is quaint, comfortable and homely. I look forward to returning to see the progress you've made... good job guys.
