Rooms very well equipped and functional even though they are slightly on the small side. Breakfast is good and WiFi very satisfactory .On a personal level the fact one cannot open windows is a negative. Sheets towels and cleanliness is to a very high standard as one would expect of a Sheraton.

Hotel is clean and nice (despite being quite ugly from outside). Room was rather small but probably newly refurbished. Restaurant for breakfast was spacious and with enough variety of food. Location is very convenient close to city centre. One think I don't understand is that one year after merge with Marriott they still keep separate loyalty program.

This was a two night break at the end of a week's cruising along the Danube and it was a welcome first night on dry land. Bucharest is a vibrant city, steeped in a chequered history that has seen communism replaced by a popular regime that has brought some big names into the city. The Sheraton Hotel is one such...

We were on vacation in Bucharest and were booked in this hotel as part of a tour. While it was a good full service hotel, it wasn't close to the old town and there was nothing noteworthy around it. So unless you are in Bucharest on business, I would choose a different property.

After an exhausting journey to get to Bucharest, the hotel offered me the most precious gift imaginable. An uninterrupted, quiet, peaceful good night's sleep what more could any travel ask from an overnight at a hotel

I am in hotels around 100 days a year from Guangzhou to Philadelphia and IMO what makes a hotel really stand out is the attentiveness and overall quality of the staff. The solution based employees of the Sheraton Bucharest make up a hard working, knowledgeable and efficient team. I unfortunately cannot remember all their names but I applaud the Manager...

Great staff. So helpful. Beds were soooo comfy! Breakfast included and excellent. 1 metro stop or 25 minute walk to Old Town. Safe neighborhood with lots of restaurants. They have a Benihana restaurant. Five stars because of the bed and the staff! Btw - if you volunteer to 'be green', they give you 5 Euro food credit or SPG points...

I've stayed in Bucharest in various hotels for business over the past 10 years. Bucharest has changed a whole lot in that time. Notably last time I stayed at this location it was a Howard Johnson hotel. I don't know when Sheraton took over and I couldn't quite work out if it had been refurbished since then or not. Certainly...

Having stayed at different hotels in Bucharest, this was my first time in the Sheraton in Bucharest. I have stayed in numerous Sheraton hotels all around the world, and am a proud SPG member. This is as average of a Sheraton as one can get. So that's good (predictable service level) and bad (other hotels in Bucharest are more personable)....

Romanian 5 Star not to be confused with the same rating in, say, London or Paris. However, it's typical Sheraton and that's pretty good. I'll be going back on my next trip as it's close to the Metro (5 minute walk) and even close enough to the Old Town if you don't fancy the trains. Takes about half an hour...
