Stayed for a night with my family and found it surprisingly good for a 3-star hotel. No luxuries in the room, but clean and has everything you might need (including individually controlled air-conditioner). The service at the reception was fairly western and polite. (I was a bit afraid to find the "soviet" service - cann't be bothered, but there was...

My girlfriend and I stayed at Lybid just about 2 weeks ago (August 2007) and the experience was not very good. Apart from the fact we had a few things from our case stolen at the airport "security control" the hotel standard was not the value we paid for. The room was very small and not very clean, very big...

The hotel is mainly Russian guests, the room was ok I paid about £60 for a night and a double bed are in all the singles I was told so you may get away with a single and smuggle soemone in. The food was "interesting" but I guess thats normal for the Ukraine.Taxi drivers will up their prices as will...

Myself and a friend stayed here as we were attending a wedding, We checked in to the hotel and where suprised to find we were being charged €100 a night.. The room was very small and basic, the beds hard and the airconditioning not working. We went to reception and requested a bigger room and where told we would be...

Stayed there for three nights end of May. Hotel is ok for business travelers, wouldn't recommend though for famillies or couples. The rooms are small but clean and functional and airconditioning is very good (it was 36 degrees celcius in Kiev!). Staff is adequate, prices compared to other hotels are average, restaurant had very good food and breakfast was above...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November 2006. Very basic hotel, ok as I was out all day. and it was only for 2 nites. Cigarette smoke everywhere, everything seemd to have a film over it, lacked sparkle but I think all of Kiev is like this. Uncomfortable seats in the bar, ordered a Gin& Tonic and...

A friend and I lodged at the Lybid for six nights in July, 2006, and were quite satisfied with the hotel. Our room was small but comfortable, contained all the basics as well as air conditioning, and had a modern bathroom that functioned properly. The hotel has a business center, a bar, and at least one restaurant. Front desk staff...

I stayed three nights at the Lybid' and was quite happy with the hotel, not special but perfectly satisfactory. For two extra nights, I paid 572 grivna / night, i.e. about 95 Euros, bed & breakfast in a double room, single occupancy. The hotel is not directly central but about half an hour's walk gets you there, about fifteen minutes...
