Rooms are old and small, but if you are just looking a place to sleep is a good option. It is run by a family, so you will feel like home. Breakfast included, tv and AC offers a plus for the reasonablr price of the room. Although location could be better, it is located in a safe neighbourhood.

Just doors down from the Torogoz and Tazumal hotels, this is the least expensive of the little hotels in this area. Good value for money, decent breakfasts, hot shower, private bathrooms, wifi. Great value.

I was in San Salvador for business through my non-profit and had heard horror stories about the crime in the city. While it's not all an exaggeration, you can feel quite safe at this guest house. It's in a quiet residential location but still close to Metro Centro, which is very central. While it's not entirely safe to walk around...

My sister had stayed here previously, so she recommended it during our visit in 2014. The hosts are a lovely couple, who have much knowledge of the history of El Salvador. The woman came to dinner with us one evening (yummy pizza place across the street-be sure to try a Pilsener beer while there!), as she and my sister had...

Air conditioning, best WiFi we've had in central america, very clean, nice breakfast included. Super friendly family-run hostel. Lady made us sandwiches because we were departing early, was very helpful throughout our stay. Would go back!

I really enjoyed staying at the International Guest House, it is a small hotel with very nice, clean rooms, air conditioning, good wifi, nice bad room with shower, breakfast inclusive (and as I found a very good one). For the given room price I don't know what people expect more, other hotels in San Salvador cost much more. I'd recommend...

I stayed here with a Church group for a week in July of 2014. I found this hotel to be adequate, though not luxurious; ie: Average. The rooms have TVs and A/C. They also have scary electrified shower-heads which make the hot water. I wasn't shocked, but a few guys in my group were- I'd advise wearing rubber soled Teva's...

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed our spacious room. The sheets kept coming off the bed as we slept, but they were clean. The shower was hot most of the time. The room had a tv. The breakfast was delicious and the owner even organised for the chef to make us Pupusas one morning as we were yet...

I stayed at the International Guest House for a month last summer while studying Spanish and doing some volunteering with a local non-profit organization. The owners and staff were helpful and welcoming and were accessible for questions and recommendations for food and shopping and travel around San Salvador. The owners are interesting people who know much of the history of...

I travel to El Salvador with my church group. We feel it to be important be frugal in our lodging and generous in our giving to our sister church and school. I have been here a half a dozen times. The rooms are small but clean and adequate. Don't come here looking for luxury. The hosts make you feel welcome...
