This is an excellent hotel! I love staying here! The beds are like clouds especially after a long day of work or sight seeing. The staff is super friendly. There are plenty of eating places around the hotel. I highly recommend this place!!!

From the moment I arrived, I felt very well taken care of at hotel Internacional. From the front desk to the security guard, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Roberto the owner, and the young man from the island in Lake Nicaragua. Thank you! I will be back!!

While looking for a last minute hotel in Managua I found Hotel Internacional. Found the phone and called. Spoke with Roberto the owner. Not only he answered every question I had but made the reservation process very easy. Upon arrival Roberto and his staff made me feel at home the rooms are kept clean and all the amenities are well... More

This is a nice, clean hotel. It is a nice, classical building, with decent rooms, good breakfast, good WiFi, all at a very reasonable price. The owner is very hands-on - very helpful, and almost always around the property. Don't know much about locations in Managua, but there were at least 2 nice open-air bar/grill/restaurants within a few blocks. You... More

This hotel was a very nice place to stay. Hot water, great breakfast, and a beautiful lobby. However to enjoy these things you must be able to overlook the hostel feel that the rooms have, mismatched sheets and pillow cases, and a general lack of attention to lighting or decor. It's also very hard to find if you're coming in... More

Close to transportation, restaurants and bars. Safe area of town. Loved the home like, family feeling, rooms are clean, comfortable. AC, beautiful layout, nice breakfast. Nice friendly staff and owner. The owner will go out of his way day or night to make you feel at home.

This hotel was great! Roberto, the owner, was so nice that at times he felt like family. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is also very nice, but Roberto knocked it out of the park with the best customer service in Nicaragua! He would do anything to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Location is... It's an okay place to stay if you are in the city. Location is alright at best and the place was completely dark when I got there, which made me think if it was even the right hotel. I was a little bit off-put by the fact that the place was empty and dark when I first arrived. There is... More

This is a beautiful hotel-clean rooms, AC, beautiful layout, nice breakfast. As two female travelers, I also felt very safe-and I am booking a room for my return. Roberto is incredibly kind and extremely helpful-providing recommendations for spots around Nicaragua. It's not far from the airport-maybe 20 minutes and I took a shuttle from the airport for about $10 US... More

The 3 day stay was comfortable. It does not have a full time restaurant, only breakfast, but there are many places to eat nearby. In fact most everything is conveniently located nearby. There were not too many people staying there, maybe one or two others. Made me wonder why there were not more people staying at this hotel. Rosa the... More

“this hotel is off the beaten path, not quite to the city center. my cab driver from the hotel had no problem taking me there. i didn't bother with the tourist markets or malls so i can't comment about the proximity. but everything in managua is taxis or walking anyway. i walked to a nearby local restaurant and had cold beer and good food. what else do you need?”

“Rooms away from Road - toward back better. Sandboarding a Volcano is an interesting activity as is visiting a volcano. Getting around is NOT easy if you plan to use maps and directions - you will stay lost for a while. Figure out the lay of the land, have good paper maps and expect people to not know how to tell you where to go. Navigation was complicated. Go to Abuelo's on the Lake of Nicarauga.”
