What a great sercive! We landed at Managua after 4 days on Little Corn Island, and it was so nice knowing that someone was waiting for us to bring us to a nice and calm place where we could relax before our 24 hours of traveling back home. We only spent one night at Don Carmelo, but it did us...

This hotel is excellent value for money. We arrived at midnight and Guillermo was waiting for us at the gate. Within 10 minutes we were at the hotel, check in was also very quick and no hassle. The hotel is not in a touristy location and there isn't much around in terms of shops (for water or snacks etc). Breakfast...

Our flight landed at 1am in Managua. We exited the airport and were immediately greeted by Hotel Don Carmelo representative, holding a sign with our name. In 10-15 minutes we were at the Hotel. A smooth and seamless process. The next morning we had a delicious traditional breakfast and asked the hotel to order us a cab to Huembes Market...

This is a very small and very low cost hotel in a more commercial area about 15 minutes from the airport. If you just want a cost saving overnight this will do. The staff are very accommodating. Rooms are sparse. If you arrive late bring a bottle of water as there are no extras even to be purchased. Ac rooms...

AND they offer a lift to your destination the next day too! Good value. Breakfast included. Nice balcony to sit and watch Managua come to life below...

This is not a 3 star hotel or not the two rooms I was shown. The rooms I saw do not look like the photos they use to promote it so lower any expectations you may have. This is a pti stop to or from the airport or other destinations. Great SHUTTLE here. Staff are warm and friendly and helpful....

After 12 hours travel time, with little knowledge or understanding of Spanish, nothing made me happier than to see the crew from Hotel Don Carmelo holding up a sign to the glass door at the airport with my name on it! After clearing customs we loaded into a van and arrived at the hotel shortly after. My room was small...

Don Carmelo is an excellent choice to stay in Managua. Free airport and bus transportation truly makes traveling easier. Everyone on the staff from the driver, receptionists and cleaning crew were extremely friendly and helpful. Henry, the owner, is a brilliant professional who helped to navigate me to all the right places. The rooms are clean, have an AC, TV,...
