This hotel has a great location and is comfortable. Located in the El Cangrejo neighborhood, you really get a feel for the real Panama here. There are tons of great restaurants, wonderful bars and it is safe to walk around. The hotel had great showers and nice decor. There wasn't a closet in our room so you should be prepared...

Posada Agua Miel is a great value in Panama City. It is located in a great neighborhood across the street from a bar, supermarket, pharmacy, and bakery. There are also a number of bars and restaurants located on Via Argentina. The Posada itself has about 5-6 rooms, which each have a nice TV with cable, air conditioning, free wifi, and...

Good renovated inner-city modern décor hotel. This small hotel/posada is located in a convenient area in Panama City – El Congrejo. Well priced for what you get: clean modern décor rooms, plenty of space, bath ensuite (in the room), good shower, open large common areas – even a open air garden like space. Internet access on a common computer, free...

We stayed one night here and we were disappointed in every way except one: it was a place to sleep for the night. The room was dark - it had a window but the blind was permanently closed and broken. The decor and design was old. The staff were there but barely had a pulse (a hello seemed difficult). The...

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Clean but simple rooms with a simple breakfast. Most of the guests were from Spanish speaking countries so it felt good to not be in a typical hotel frequented by Americans. A little Spanish would help at the front desk but we found everyone helpful. Good central location with taxis available. Walk to local...

Agua Miel is in the El Cangrejo neighborhood of Panama City. It's the best place! Within walking distance to real (trust me, I lived in Manhattan) bagels, a great pub, and tons of restaurants. One night we couldn't decide where to go for dinner so we restaurant hopped! The hotel is cute, with many modern finishes. The people who work...

Definitely would stay here when I return to Panama. The girl at the reception was fabulous, very friendly and especially pleasant in all the things I needed, very good explaining and giving advice on lifestyle in that country. Very good location, central, everything is close, malls and even small shops to buy all kinds of things. Return after 3am after...

I had originally booked another hotel but they lost my booking so I was moved to Posada Agua Miel. On the plus side, the rooms were very large and clean. It was useful having a fridge to keep drinks cool and the air con was great. The negatives: the wifi signal was very weak in the room, the walls are...

I would stay here again if I really needed to but I know there are probably better places at the same rate. I have had better breakfasts in cut rate places in the states, in fact the second morning we didn't even bother with the breakfast. Pool is a small backyard affair. Didn't even try it.

“We had a room above the breakfast room with computer with internet - convenient for us and people were quiet (they have the old style windows above the doors for air flow etc, so you can hear any loud activity outside the room - in our case - it was no problem since people were quiet). If you want less chance of hearing the breakfast getting ready etc - I'd ask for a room in the wing across from the main building.”
