Monkey Lodge is in a fairly remote part of Panama about 45 minutes by car inland from the city. It has three or four small bungalows in large and very pleasant garden, with a nice pool and lots of trees. There are many species of colourful birds passing through and there is also an enclosure housing a few rescue monkeys...

I would recommend this lodge to anyone. Tucked away in the beautiful rainforest away from the city, noise and lights. Great service and delicious home cooked meals !! The monkeys were so much fun to interact with. The tours provided were AMAZING! Max (our tour guide) was a great host and provided some great memories and laughs to last a...

This delightful French family has a great ability to make you share their love for the Panamanian natural habitat in general and its monkeys (which Sabrina rescues) in particular. Max, one of the sons, was our guide for the half day canal tour, where we saw many birds, interacted with capuchin and spider monkeys, followed and passed huge container ships...

We spent four nights in a private cabin nestled in lush gardens. The pool and eating area were nearby. The pool, grounds and common areas were clean and maintained. The owners were fun and helpful, and the breakfast was good. We took one of the tours they offered to Embera Tribe village and for a waterfall swim by longboat. It...

The room it's self was similar to an eco lodge. What I came for was the amazing experience or meeting the monkeys and for the fantastic family who run the lodge. We took one of the Monkey Island tours and that was the highlight of the stay. The location isn't too far from Panama City if you don't get lost-...

The young tour guide was absolutely amazing! Such a huge help and so much fun, will be back for sure :-) He is bubbly and had other great recommendations of things to do once we got to Panama City. It's a lovely family run place.

We had an awesome trip with Fabrice as a guide to the "Parara Puru" Indian villages. Was run by canoe up to a waterfall in the jungle where we were swimming before we went down to Indian villages for lunch. We were welcomed with music and dance. Also got a nice presentation of one of the representative from the village...

WASTE TIME & MONEY Do you want to WASTE YOUR TIME ? It's the place to be. One day it's largely enough otherwise you get depressed. A lot of noises surround the property specially early in the morning. DON'T expect a lot of confort. We were a group of 5 people and If you want to get here, be aware...

We are not surprised by your comments because you warned us that the threat of bad reviews was your way of trying to negotiate lower prices. It is an excellent place for short stays, it's like being in the jungle but not far from the city, the best are the tours to learn a little more about the history of Panama and without forgetting the delicious food made by the owner, totally recommend this place, you must visit on your vacation!
