A friend and I recently stayed here and we had an overall very positive experience. We loved the roof access and the view. The location is also fantastic! The building itself has a lot of charm, and contrary to other reviewers, I found the staff very helpful. There are a few things that were rough around the edges, and made...

This place looks fantastic on the website but was a real let down when we arrived and got settled in. I'll start positive: the location is very nice and the view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful. The bed and other furniture was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately there is a lot more negative to report. The staff was polite but...

We arrived to Panama City late and received a key from the attached bar because the office closes at 11pm. My wife found two people asleep in our room. The hotel had no other rooms and we had to take a cab to the Hilton. We went back the following day and they provided us with our original room. We...

We had the Kliemman Suite, which was perfect for us and our grown son. The beds were lovely and comfortable, the bath small, but clean and functional. However...the nightlife made sleep impossible. The suite is on the second floor, but right over the bar, which blared music til all hours of the morning (except Sunday, when the bar two doors...

This hotel was a sad low point in our trip and unacceptable for nearly any reason you might stay at a hotel. We had rented four rooms for our extended family and ended up leaving early to find other accommodations. The common areas were filthy - littered with cigarette butts and dirt. The woman who showed us our rooms walked...

The outside, entryway and stair wells are quite unassuming but the room was great. The central location was perfect for walking the entire historic district with the many shops, restaurants and bars. Taxies are every where to make those treks out of the area even easier. A car would be totally unnecessary especially with lack of easy parking in the...

I will attempt to be cheerful. The young man at the hotel restaurant was awesome. The lovely women at the office wanted to help but had no authority to help. My room was exactly as the web page. My closet had one coat hanger. My kitchen had a coffee pot but no coffee cups. The one meter square only window...

OK so first impression on arriving down a dingy corridor to a basement reception and up in a tiny lift were not promising - however after settling in the character of the building and old town won through. Original tiles throughout do give a run down effect that is a bit unfair. Room, Chagres, well appointed with great balcony views....

Firstly thanks for the review it was very helpful feed back. The areas you refer to are as you mention somewhat the result of our retaining the over 100 year old original tiles. As we note, these do have a tendency to create a certain drabness in the approach to and area around the reception There is a proposed renovation...

Situated on a prime street overlooking the water and downtown skyline with steps to the hottest spots to hang out at night, this hotel has a lot to offer but also some growing up to do. Our room, Cruces, had a great layout, comfortable bed and good ac. The shower was clean but in a bit of rough shape. The...

My apologies concerning the music. The hotel is part of the rather active night scene in the old city which tends to stay up late The "Casco" is on the must visit list for people wanting an active and fun night scene and the Hotel is the best location to enjoy that ambience. That said we know there are guests...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights after a much needed rest following the more rustic accommodations on San Blas Islands. The receptionist here was so warm and friendly and we were so happy to see such a spacious, clean and bright room overlooking the ocean in the trendy Casco Viejo area. The view of the city...

Truly sorry about the breakfast. Even more so about the coffee which is really unforgivable Thank you so much for reporting this and I will check what went wrong immediately and the key issue as well. Glad you liked it otherwise and please let us know in advance should you return so we can make amends
