We stayed at this hotel which is near the Centre of the Old Town of Panama City Casco Viejo. It's an old hotel in need of restoration but as a backpacker place it's fine rather grubby round the edges but reasonable for the money and near to the Old Town The staff once we got to know them were friendly...

Never disapoints, always a new place to go. Even with kids, family, friends, romantic getaway, dining or dancing. So close to the city. Uber drive for less than $5 (regular fare x1). Dont miss that out!

All the places are very trendy and for all type of people and budget... Walk through their street and see the old constructions and building, square is a very nice experience if you have a refreshing drink with you. The views to the city and the new part are really nice too. Highly recommended!

This was a hotel being refurbished...however if you are going to rent out a room, clean it. The black soot covered the floor, the dresser, the walls. The staff here are not helpful or friendly...they all look miserable...even the owner who showed up one day. The young girl who made breakfast...and worked darn hard was the only friendly face. This...

The streets of this French Quarter remind me very much of another French Quarter I know (New Orleans) with its wrought iron railings and exposed old brick. Getting to this part of town requires going through some much rougher looking parts of town. I felt secure with our tour group but I am not sure I would venture to this...

Very quaint, old part of town. Buildings are all being renovated and preserved. Very hip and trendy area. Beautiful churches, nice, hip restaurants, shops, and coffee shops. Great to walk around, but noisy if you're staying there.

Of all the places that I went to panama, this part of the city was the most charming and interesting one. The old and newly renovated buildings one next to each other and the richness of this place made me fell in love. Plenty of restaurants and spectacular views of the city. A must go see place. Don't miss it

My friend and I stayed 3 nights in this hotel in the Casco Viejo neighborhood. This hotel in particular is just at the edge of the sketchy slums and squatter towns on the north end of the neighborhood. The police officers regular watched where we walked and quickly instructed us to turn around when we started walking north of this...

We stayed here for one night. We had been told that it would be $35 per night for a room with a private bath. But we were told when we arrived that didn't include towels or toilet paper or hot water. We ended up upgrading to the $60 room which also included air conditioning. The location lets you easily see...

To sleep cheap in the fascinating old town, this hotel is an option. The entire old town is in walking distance and there are buses stopping fairly nearby. Staff very helpful. There was a movie crew filming when I was there. There are no elevators so one must lug one's bags all the way up. Really nice architectural touches, suggesting...
