Rooms were big, clean, air conditioner worked great, lots of hot water. Staff were great and an included breakfast. Everything as advertised. We asked to see the room before we committed because of a bad experience at another hotel. No problem. The pool was ok. Pool deck was very slippery.

nice hotel, pool and nice terrace view, they used to have an old mercedes benz parked at the entrance that was such a nice touch to take a picture, the breakfast is good but the reception could have a customer service curse.

La Cresta Inn, in Panama City, Panam has a great crew for its Staff - they really do ! They speak Englishas well as Spanish (some better than others, of course), and in a patient and friendly manner encouraged and helped me to loosen up to use my Spanish 🔆👍 Circumstances caused me to extend my stay at La Cresta Inn, so we became more friendly than otherwise. The room cleaning was done quickly yet thoroughly - they knocked at my door each day — some days their service was unnecessary. There is a small pool, which was thoroughly enjoyed by many of the folks who stayed there — the timing during the day of the unseasonal rains precluded me using it. There is a breakfast buffet which has many offerings — it just wasn’t my fare, as I am one of those who has Green Smoothies and lots of salads.... so I enjoyed their fruit and tea offerings.... and bought water, salad, dressing, blue corn chips, etc at the nearby RibaSmith grocery. The rooms are clean... the furnishings are showing their age... after all, this is less than a 4-star hotel. I do recommend La Cresta Inn for other budget-minded travelers —these are really friendly, helpful folks ! I had 4 fotos, yet even after four attempts, they were still not uploading.…

I was travelling for work and stayed one night, and only because I got to the city late and it was too late in the night and too much hassle to change hotel. I will not stay there again. Perhaps I got unlucky with my room, but the room I got shouldn't even exist in a 4 star hotel. Pros. The staff was friendly. The check-in was easy. It's a tall building so the window has a decent view from above. There is air-conditioning and hot water. Fairly central location. There is a working lift. Cons: The corridor smelled of sweat (at least on the 5th floor, haven't been to other floors). The room smelled really strongly of unwashed clothes, in fact, as I found out, the bedsheets smelled like they were unwashed. It was overwhelming. The bathroom smelled like someone had been smoking in there (and I don't smoke so it wasn't myself!). The breakfast (apart from the fruits which were nice) was very poor quality food (heinz sausages, poorly cooked eggs swimming in water, the rice pudding had too much sugar and rice husks in it). The whole place is decorated with dark decoration and it feels gloomy. The room looks more or less like the pictures but like it had aged badly since the picture was taking. There were mosquitoes in the room and got bitten through the night! The room was not clean and I found some hair around. It is supposedly a 4 star hotel but I honestly don't think they deserve more than 1 star. I've been in better hotels that were only 2 stars. At least they were clean. Overall if you can tolerate smoke and sweat smell, eat cheap food and some degree of uncleanliness, the place is fairly central...…

This place is a huge disappointment, so we were glad to have only spent one night there. They had no record of our booking, so had to wonder around the hotel looking for rooms for us. Due to the size of our group, we required 2 rooms. One of the rooms was alright, but the other room was so dirty, we had to ask to be moved to another room. Even then, we couldn’t walk around without shoes, the floor was so filthy. There was so much dirt it didn’t look as if it had been vacuumed in weeks. In all our travels, we’ve never stayed in a place as filthy as this. The toilet and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, so there was a perpetual puddle on the floor. The pool was dirty, and the hot tub didn’t work. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat at their restaurant or the continental breakfast. The 2 positives of the inn are it is centrally located and close to lots of restaurants, and the air conditioning works.…

Thank you for taking so well care of us. The hotel is a bit old fashioned but very very very clean. The staff is amazing. Nice little pool and the best of Panamean breakfasts are served. Coffee is gooood! Fresh pressed juice is available. Washing and drying machine available. BBQ by the pool. Only little down side is the gym which smells moulds.

The Inn is very dated and in much need of renovations. We stayed for only one night on our way Coronado to the airport and we needed a pet friendly hotel. While it says a free shuttle, we were charged a small fee ($4)
