This hotel had a special Black Friday offer which I took and booked a room. They confirmed the booking, but the next day they changed their mind and tried to make me pay 6 times more. It was a scam to draw customers in and then renegotiate prices. Very unprofessional and lamentable, after all they pretend to be a top class class.
Our room was spacious and swanky, the staff was incredibly helpful and helped us plan a day trip, connected us to a great guide, and helped set everything up for us. The hotel is conveniently located and we'd definitely stay again
We stayed at this hotel due to the reviews of the service given and I have to be honest, they did not disappointed me!!! People are always smiling and willing to help. From the concierges to the cleaning ladies who were always watching and caring at us. Great views of the City and superb upgrade to a high floor. I definetely recommend Las Americas if you want a nice service, cozy room and a complete breakfast.
Had a really good experience at the Gold Tower Hotel. First time booking this hotel but don’t regret it. The chef (Noel) is super nice and was open to talk with us. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant has really great food!
First time travels to Panama and got a great hotel. Service is great and staff is friendly. The rooms are amazing and have luxurious touch to it and food is surprisingly good. Everyone is willing to help and have a conversation! Would definitely recommend.
Hotel seemed to be very vacant. Found out later it had been used for people who tested positive for Covid as a hold over until they cleared. NICE. No hot water. They knew that when I checked in but said nothing. No business center, not guest directory or room service menu. Nice staff though. Breakfast was surprisingly good.
We decided to stay here for our second visit to Panama since our favourite one was sold out. I have to say the level of cleanliness in the room and public areas was a worry for us. The service is just not there… lack of attention and genuine care for your guest… Much to do for a 5 star property.
Covid quarantine area of the hotel only (I cannot speak for the common commercial rooms if they are being sold at this time...): For folks staying here as part of Covid quarantine, your experience will be different than the non-covid area reviews. The covid quarantine areas of this property where I stayed for 10 days are serviced by 6 people caring for 250 guests. The rooms are modified with easy to clean but uncomfortable flooring, our shower had a significant amount of mold & Hot water in the sink & shower is intermittent. All services are provided by hospital/nursing staff in the area & the ration of staff/guests is 6/250-guests. Unless you have a dietary need, you cannot order outside food to your room; expect 3 prison-quality meals/day. I know the folks managing the covid rooms are doing their best, but they are overwhelmed & you will feel their pain as a quarantining guest more than them...…
Great hotel! Highly recommend. Buffet breakfast was fully stocked. The concierge was able to provide a day trip to San Blas Islands (Panama special services, Eduardo was especially helpful). Would stay again!
Our housekeeper was very hospitable, personable, flexible, and patient. She asked us how did we like Panama. She always had a smile on her face. Sometimes we weren’t ready for her to come in to clean. She was always understanding and patient. She would come back at a later time. She never got irritated. She made a real nice experience for us.
