We stayed here for three nights. Our room was at their second location (in Plaza Bolivar) that is an easy walk from their first location. The staff was great and brought our bags to this location. The room was very clean and spacious. It was in fact a suite with a separate living room/kitchen area. The AC worked great. The staff stocked two fresh water bottles in our fridge each day of our stay. The staff was also helpful and made several recommendations as far as restaurants. The location is easily within walking distance of any location within the Casco Viejo.

We found our stay at La Isabela's Bolivar Plaza location to be the best of both worlds - Hotel and private lodging. Compared to the American Trade Hotel (where we also stayed), we found La Isabella more intimate, more immersive, more spacious, and of equal quality. All you will miss is room service. The suite was luxurious: modern finishes, tons of living space, well-appointed kitchen, huge shower, and a large private balcony directly overlooking the plaza, which was charming and vibrant all week without keeping us awake. Service was top notch: daily cleaning service, in-person check-in/out, guided introduction to the area, up-to-date recommendations for local dining, 24-hour concierge assistance via Whatsapp, and Nespresso and bottled water refilled daily.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights in an Executive Suite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Suite was a huge Duplex with high ceilings and tasteful decor and was exactly as portrayed on the hotel website . The location was right in the centre of the lively Casco Viejo and within walking distance of numerous restaurants. However, what sets this hotel apart from other hotels is the exceptional personal service provided. In particular, the Manager, Andres, went out of his way to ensure that we had a great stay. Andres made several phone calls on our behalf to locate a dentist for my husband and when we were checking out , waited with us until our car arrived to ensure that our driver knew the exact location of our destination address. Absolutely fantastic stay at the La isabela suites! Andres was a delightful host. He took care of every little detail for us and was extremely accommodating. The suites are very spacious and impeccably clean. Beautiful inside balconies, very private and quiet. Wonderful little oasis in the middle of Casco Viejo!

Great location rooms and staff. The beds are very comfortable. And they provided coffee tea water and milk, with many options on brewing your favorite drink. The staff was very helpful with arranging a driver for the airport and a trip to Anton Valley.

We didn’t stay in the main hotel but stayed in the annex. Turned out to be a nice one bedroom with kitchen and living room on beautiful little square (Plaza Bolivar). Quiet, intimate, with three restaurants right out the front door. Easy walk to all Casco Viejo. Bed was satisfactory. Air conditioning was very good. Balcony on second floor perfect for looking over the square with a coffee in the morning or glass of wine at night.

We stayed in a 2 story apartment in the suites annex. It had a great balcony overlooking Bolivar Square. Wonderful people watching. The excellent Casablanca restaurant is downstairs. We watched a solemn religious procession pass right in front the Friday before Good Friday. While great for us, be warned that there is music and activity until at least 11PM and later on weekends, so don't stay here if you are an early to bed person. Ask to stay in main building instead. The host, Andres, will see to your every need.

You will not find a better place to stay in Panama. We spent 4 night in the Executive Suites (formerly Hotel Columbia) and it was perfect. Andres simply can't do enough to make your stay memorable. Housekeeping does the room perfectly every day and no matter what you want Andres drops what ever he's doing and runs right over. He also can arrange tours and airport transportation. I've traveled all over the world and he is the most attentative host I have ever seen. Simply the best!!!!!
