Quaint is the word that comes to mind. If you want slick, modern, this is not for you. Clean, very comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. Good size room. Only negative is that the bathroom plumbing is tired and leaky. Had to work real hard to turn off the sink faucet. Two minute walk to Main St. We attended the... More

I came to Annapolis for the sailboat show and I cannot be happier with my room! The building is adorable inside and out! I didnt expect it to be so quiet considering it is located in the heart of the city backed to the rumble of Main street where all the action is! The location cannot be beat! You can... More

I am sitting in my room as I am writing this. I have to wonder what standards the other reviewers used to give this place such a good rating. Let me list the reasons for my disbelief. First it is dirty and run down, the furniture is literally falling apart. The mattress is so bad that it sinks in the... More

Nice and comfortable old home. Easy walk to waterfront. Right across street from the beautiful historic State Capital building. Love this city. Comfortable room and very pleasant staff. Inexpensive. (No breakfast but can walk to so many...). Was just my husband and I. No parking on site but they give you a 50% off card for municipal parking lot that's... More

It's a B for two reasons: First, there is "bed", but no "breakfast." Second, it is nice, but not great. One oddity: The proprietor was rarely on the premises. When I arrived, the door was locked and no one answered the door bell. I came back later (around noon) and, again, no one answered the door bell. I called the... More

Plus: great location, quiet...we ran the A/C all night and never heard anything else. Neg. not the cleanest, from the coffee pot (no breakfast served) to the shower and sink area. Do not think of the Inn as a B&B. It is only a B.

We stayed here for one night when we were in town for a family wedding at the Naval Academy Chapel. The location couldn't have been more perfect...short easy walk to the Chapel and then back from the reception. Easy walk to the city docks and historic areas, and directly across the street from the Maryland State House. Friendly, helpful staff,... More

What a shame we were only able to spend one night here. I was on a mission to find a nice place (that didn't kill our wallets) in a location close to downtown. I found it at the State House Inn. The folks that run/own this place are amazing. The lovely girl that checked us in was so accommodating. We... More

My husband and I were looking for a cute place to stay that's within walking distance to the downtown area. This adorable B&B is up the street from the harbor but right on state circle so it's a great view and you can walk to all the local stores and restaurants. The rooms themselves are typical B&B style (small, a... More
