After much research, partly on Tripadvisor, we plumped for The Sherburne Inn. We were vindicated! It's a short bag drag from the ferry port, through the quaint streets full of upmarket shops. On arriving early, we were able to leave our chattels in order to expore the town. We spent so much time in The Whaling Museum that we only...

thoroughly enjoyed this inn very comfortable and central, delicious little treats like homemade biscuits at tea time and madeira and chocolate brownies when we came in after dinner.

Cleanest inn I have ever stayed in, linens and furniture were all very clean, pretty and well maintaned. We stayed in Room 3. it was a small small room, think of a cabin on a cruise ship, and the bathroom was very small. if you are very large, pick another room in the Inn. But if you can stay at...

I'll must admit that the 4 days we spent in Nantucket had the most perfect weather that has ever existed. So our outlook was rosy. But even without perfect weather, the Sherburne is exactly what a simple Nantucket Inn should be. Our room was small (it's an OLD house), but charming and completely equipped with what we needed. The owner...

This is an VERY clean B&B. It is located on a quiet street with a short walk to town and all of the restaurants, shopping and night life. The staff is friendly and helpful, and provide a light breakfast left at your door every morning. Sweets and water are left out for guests in the afternoon, and sherry in the...

Susan and her team did not spare a detail to make this beautiful, welcoming, elegant and comfortable inn feel like the home you want to stay and live in permanently. Great location a few streets from the Center. Comforable rooms with the very best of everything. Even a...

Lovely small B&B with a perfect location. Short walk to everything in town. Owner provides a number of nice small touches, such as cookies and lemon infused water in the late afternoon and sherry at night. She'll also give advice on bike paths, restaurants, etc.

We came to a wedding and wanted a homebase from which to also enjoy the island for several days. The Sherburne Inn was perfect: three blocks from the ferry, a few minutes walk to great restaurants and shops, a short walk to the shuttles that take you all over the island. But the best part was the comfortable, well furnished...

“Three rooms on the first floor, 4 rooms on the second. I stayed in the first floor petite queen room - 2 windows and a small private bath. It was perfect. My friends stayed in the standard queen room on the first floor - 2 windows plus a private bath with a window...very nice. The king room on the first floor was the most private as it was tucked away in back of the Inn. The 2 queen rooms were right next to each other. Did not see the second floor rooms. This Inn is so close to Town, but on a quiet side street. Perfect...”
