Our party of ten ranged in age from my 78 year old parents to my early twenties niece. We had 5 rooms, each different and only one had a smaller than average bathroom. All were super clean and had nice toiletries in the bathrooms. My parents, uncle and sister's family stayed in the Garden Wing. Their rooms seemed larger than...

Thank you for your exuberant and extensive review! I am very pleased that you and your family enjoyed the Brass Lantern and your stay in Nantucket. The quieter seasons are a great time for family trips and reunion and we love to host family groups at the Brass Lantern. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit!

We just stayed this past weekend and loved it here. Very clean rooms, great snacks and breakfast items. ((Especially liked the scones )). Literally a few yards from the whaling museum and the center of it all. Only gripe (and it is small) but the tv was places in the corner to the back and to the right of the...

Thank you for your review - we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay - we love our scones too! Most guests who stay in your room watch TV from the couch - but, you are right, not a great view from the bed. We are planning to mount a larger TV on the wall during our winter renovation to...

My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a long weekend stay at the Brass Lantern. It could not have been more perfect! The Inn is quintessential Nantucket; quaint, casual, historic, and comfortable. Our room (Wisteria) was clean and crisp, the Staff pleasant and accommodating, and the location very convenient to Main Street and the ferry. The smell...

Great location just up the street from whaling museum, easy walking to all downtown areas. Lovely comfortable rooms and nice common areas including sitting area outside. Very nice, tastes breakfast and coffee/ tea available all day with fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Have tried a few other B&Bs on Nantucket but always come back to The Brass Lantern.

The room was very small and the one odd issue is that to watch tv one had to look sideways toward the screen located in a cabinet. When sitting up from the toilet one has a good chance of hitting your head on the wall hanging fixture...just too small...

You are right, your room is our smallest and 'coziest' room at the Inn, and it does present some challenges. With 17 rooms, we have a wide variety of sizes and locations and show our room layout, and photos and descriptions including square footage on our website. We do try our best to give our guests the best possible experience...

The Brass Lantern Inn has our immense gratitude for letting us check in straight off the ferry (before noon) on the nastiest rainiest day imaginable. Our room was little but immaculate and breakfast was simple but well prepared. The afternoon coffee and cookies were much appreciated too. Our one suggestion is that our sweet little room would be much improved...

Thank you for your excellent suggestion! Adding a wall lamp on each side of the bed with a small bedside table would be a very good improvement in that room. Thank you also for your kind comments about our food offerings. We hope to see you another time at the Brass Lantern - with arrival on a sunnier day!

The Brass Lantern turned out to be the perfect location for our stay. We chose it on friends' recommendations but were not disappointed. The location was perfect (we were there for a wedding at The White Elephant) for shopping, dinning and just plain "walking around". Our air conditioner unit was a little noisy but did not keep either one of...

I have been remiss to review the Brass Lantern since we stayed there in July, but nevertheless it is the perfect, charming inn for a quick getaway or a longer stay on Nantucket. The inn is classic Nantucket charm, with a lovely back yard and patio area for guests and a lovely indoor breakfast area if you prefer. The inn...

We enjoyed our stay at the Brass Lantern and felt well taken care of by the staff. Breakfast was a lavish continental buffet and there were some gluten-free options for the celiac in our party. The location of the inn was excellent - on a quiet street but close to the ferry and the main shopping streets. Michelle was extremely...
