We spent one night at Casa Concepcion at the outset of our trip and returned for another two nights a week later. We stayed in the courtyard room which consisted of bedroom, bathroom with separate sitting area with small kitchenette - with views of a patio area where breakfast was served. Pros - helpful staff; pleasant breakfast on our second... More

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Concepcion. Julio is super helpful and speaks English fluently, which is a major plus. He had great recommendations for restaurants and made reservations for us. We stayed in Suite #1, which is clean and quiet and has a great view from the windows. The bathroom is big, with a Jacuzzi tub! The breakfast... More

We stayed with another couple in this very charming clean and comfortable bed and breakfast. I can not express how happy we were to have had this recommended to us for our 4 day stay in Antigua. The breakfast was excellent, the staff outstanding speaking perfect English. I would certainly stay here again if I were to return to Antigua.

This beautiful, spotless hotel is located within walking distance of everything you want to see in Antigua. We booked the apartment in the hotel, but the other rooms also look gorgeous, and there are comfy spaces indoors and out for all guests to use. Julio and his assistant Claudia (both bilingual and bicultural) are fonts of info and are happy... More

I visited this hotel with a friend a few weeks ago and we were both completely charmed by the entire place. The staff go out of their way to make you feel like home. We were on the ground floor apartment (I think it's the only one with a kitchenette) - with two beds and a small bathroom. The little... More

Casa Concepcion provides a wonderful balance of accessibility to the main attractions of Antigua with a peaceful, quiet and intimate atmosphere. Sitting in the breakfast courtyard is like taking a long cool drink of water, the sala is a perfect place to get sight seeing advice (and hear political/cultural insights) from Julio and to meet friends. My bedroom (#2 I... More

Traveled with my husband and another couple celebrating 50th birthdays. Only had time for one night in Antigua. Extremely pleased to have chosen this warm and friendly hotel! Nicely appointed rooms, outrageous restrooms, good food and very relaxing courtyard. Staff ready to meet our needs - quick to offer us cold beverages day or night! Julio was happy to assist... More

Excellent location in Antigua, and very private. Had a room with a queen bed and a single with an exceptional bathroom. The hotel is very warm and comfortable, great condition, with a nice small courtyard for enjoying breakfast and relaxing in. Breakfast is excellent, with a choice of either an omelet, pancakes, or fruit. The manager, Julio, is extremely friendly... More

Located a few blocks from the town centre, immediately adjacent to some beautiful church ruins. Quiet, extremely comfortable rooms, which however just a little on the small side. Very attentive staff who pampered us with sparkling wine and got us tables at the best restaurants in town on short notice. Has a beauituful patio & balconies for relaxing after a... More
