We initially had reservations at another hotel, but moved to Casa Ovalle because of the value along with the good reviews - we weren't disappointed. The staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous, the property feels very secure - and the grounds and rooms are very clean and well taken care of. I told my wife I thought could be the... More

We stayed in the Ovalle 3 nights. A wondeful place in the heart of Antigua. Their breakfast is complete with fresh fruits, juices, cereals, eggs, pancakes all made by Armenita, their cook. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a rooftop lounge with views of the volcanoes. Very reasonable rates. Helpful and friendly staff. We felt very safe walking... More

My wife and I stayed here and it was an awesome experience. The room was very comfortable, the shower warm and the staff friendly and attentive. The breakfast is excellent and the upstairs patio very relaxing and inviting. I would gladly come back. Also, great WIFI connection too.

This is a beautiful B&B tucked behind huge doors that do not hint at the comfort and charm when seen from the street. The staff all friendly and helpful including a very pleasant cook who did a nice breakfast

A few blocks from the central park gives a great location. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet and clean. The staff were all very friendly even with my terrible Spanish, but the owner spoke perfect English and knew how to book/plan any venture around the city. The granny that cooked breakfast was so nice and cooked a tasty meal every... More

You can not beat the location of the B&B. Two blocks from the central Plaza. Close but far enough away that made this the idea location. Staff were friendly and helpful. We came with an extra person and they were able change one room to accmmodate for us. They aslo assisted with transportation to the airport. I will come back!

Casa Ovalle was great for a solo traveler. The place was clean and showed attention to detail. Staff was more than willing to be helpful. I always felt safe there. Location was great as well - close to the city center.

My husband and I spent two nights at Casa Ovalle between our visits to Tikal and Lake Atitlan. We loved everything about the B&B and would definitely stay here again. Our room, San Juan, was upstairs overlooking the internal courtyard. We had a king bed and a separate sitting room. The bathroom was a little small, but perfectly fine. The... More

My girlfriend celebrated a major (as in round number) birthday. She had spent time in Antigua 3 years ago and wanted to go back. She wanted to stay here and we were not disappointed. The fresh prepared breakfast was delicious. The room was immaculate. And best of all was the staff Armenia, Francisco and the others. Everyone went above and... More
