We stayed at Cirilo as a first stop from Guatemala City, kindly collected by an arranged driver from the hotel. This was about an hour away. The driver was on time and we exchanged eye contact straight away as he held a sign with our name on. This avoided being harassed by taxis. We stayed here based on the reviews...

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is build in the ruins of an old church and the designer did an awesome job of incorporating new with ancient. Ricardo and his staff anticipated every need. I felt like we were the only ones staying in this beautiful, quiet retreat. The food in the restaurant was good. The location is close enough...

As mentioned in the other reviews, this hotel is beautifully located on the compound of an old church and is a small gem in picturesque Antigua. The architecture, design and attention to detail is incredible and Ricardo, the owner, has done a great job of creating a unique boutique hotel. Ricardo and the staff are professional and service-minded. Twice Ricardo...

I travel a lot (1-2 times a month), and I never write reviews. Hotel Cirilo is more than deserving of high marks! My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 days. Beautiful hotel within a gorgeous courtyard & ruins. "Boutique" with class. Exceptional attention to guests. Tasty breakfast included with Antigua's renowned banana bread (my girlfriend was over the moon...

I attended one if my best friends weddings and the grooms party stayed at this hotel. The staff worked hard to make everything just right and I could not imagine a more romantic venue to tie the knot.

This hotel is amazing. After staying at another hotel in Antigua that wasn't quite up to scratch I changed to Hotel Cirilo for my last night in Antigua and I couldn't have asked for more. This hotel is perfect. From the rooms, to the gardens, to the meals, I cannot fault anything. Yes, it is a little bit out of...

I do not think I would stay at any other hotel in Antigua, I went into several of the nicest to look around. The Cirilo Hotel is lovely, with beautiful gardens, built around incredible ruins, where you can relax in tranquility, away from the loud center of Antigua. It is at most a 15 minute walk from the center of...
