Casa Santo Domingo is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in. It's a piece of history, in the hearl of Antigua, Guatemala's colonial capital. Service was excellent, food delicious, staff was nice but with such a huge place to manage, not super friendly. Anyway, it was for a business trip and my only regret is that my...

Seriously, it's beautiful. Built in the convent, the rooms are lovely , the view is inspiring and walking around in the gardens is very peaceful. I fully recommend it. Booked in advance as rooms are not so available and are a bit expensive.

We had been told that this property was amazing but still were not prepared for how special Casa Santo Domingo is. Even though our room was probably one of the more ordinary ones, it was huge. The back wall of our room appeared to be part of the former monastery. When we visited a suite, it was massive. Santo Domingo...

There are hidden gems throughout the grounds. Little museums of silver, paintings and art. A wedding was being set up for and they covered a fountain with candles. The restaurant had a great buffet. Service was great, except for at the pool. (The drinks took ages to come out and the glasses had black dirt, as if they had been...

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comments. We are pleased to know you enjoyed our buffet and service overall. In many bathrooms of our rooms, there are antique tiles installed (part of our collection) but will look into the matter. If you give us the opportunity of staying with us again, pls contact me directly...

Incredible experience if you like the idea of staying in a heritage site. You will give up on some of the modern conveniences but will be better for the experience. If you are the type of person who woukd want to stay in a castle when you visit Scotland and the old town when you visit Jeruselum - the this...

The grounds of this hotel/museum are beautiful and the amenities are top noch. The service and staff were all very professional and helpful as well and the location is convenient to all things in Antigua. The rooms however feel very dark and a bit dated. The beds and linens are very comfortable and clean and the room sizes are nice...

My husband and I recently returned from a visit to Antigua Guatemala and stayed at Casa Santo Domingo. It is a hidden treasure! Built from the ruins of a 1500's convent. There is a museum on the grounds right behind the pool. The walkways are covered in a hanging latticework of flowers. Your walk around the grounds and to and...

Casa Santo Domingo is a beautiful oasis in bustling Antigua. The perfect place to stay, relax, and enjoy the on-site museums, gorgeous grounds, candlelit evenings, fine dining, art, and on and on... It is an easy stroll into the Central Park area. It was our first time to Guatemala, and we were extremely pleased with our choice of Casa Santo...

Casa Santo Domingo is a hotel built in the ruins of a Spanish colonial mission. The entire hotel is beautiful and it is filed with art and artifacts hundreds of years old. Ancient stone walls draped in greenery, orchids and other flowers.

It has cloisters and courtyards, macaws, candlelit dining room, suites, good food, international guests. We have stayed in other converted monasteries and this is the nicest. It also has a lovely pool, warm, and spa. The hotel is walking distance to almost everything in pretty, colonial Antigua.
