This was my home away from home while staying in La Antigua (at the hotel 5 nights). Loved it. My room (202) was super cozy, but spacial. It had an ample-sized bedroom, plus a shower and sink in another room and then a sink and toilet in another. While off a patio, it was quiet. Wifi worked in the room....

We stayed at this hotel over New Years 2016. The hotel was perfectly located for walking all of Antigua. The front desk staff and porters were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just steps from the big 2017 fireworks display and the Casbah Club (recommend for drinks and dancing - although very packed on NYE). Lovely courtyard and rooftop...

It is (slightly) pot luck whether you get a room with a view, a room with a window, a room with street noise, or a room with a door that actually shuts! However, the rooms are (generally) spacious, which is a help for international travellers with 'big' luggage. The beds are big and comfortable. The shower was powerful and the...

We spent 2 nights here over the New Year. It is a beautiful property, in a central location. Though quite noisy. The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I would love to visit it again.

Upon a starred review from the Moon guide we went for dinner and a drink. The gardens are lovely and the staff nice so would be worth having a drink there, although my sangria strange and syrupy, so wouldn't recommend that. The food is quite pricey even by Vancouver standards which I wouldn't mind if it was great but it...

We stayed here for three nights, staff are delightful and helpful. Our room was a good size, beds were extremely hard and we had to ask for extra blankets as in January it is quite cold at night. Plenty of hot water for baths/showers. The rooms are arranged around an inner courtyard, doors to the rooms do not fit terribly...

This place has a fun atmosphere for visiting and dinner, but don't expect to get much sleep. The hotel itself is 300 years old and I think the beds are original; they were severely worn out and hard. Tip: enjoy a meal here, but stay somewhere else.

In my last trip to Antigua, we wanted to drink something in the street of the arch (5th ave). We wanted a beer and some food for the children so we went to this hotel. The service was very good, people were very friendly, they were very kind with the babies and even gave us a present for them. Very...

I was only able to stay here for one night after a medical mission trip. It is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Antigua. The rooms are all a bit different from one another, but mine was clean and comfortable. The staff were all extremely helpful, in spite of my limited Spanish. The courtyard is a beautiful place to...

I was offered, by my parents, a night with my wife at the hotel. My parents bought and paid for a specific room more than one month in advance, they even changed the date of our stay so that we could get the room, they confirmed again two days before, but when we got there, they said it was not...
