a wonderful service both the Hostel and the travel agency. They have a travel agency and their service is super comfortable. They always pick you up on time. I made the mistake of arriving 10 minutes after the pick-up time . those from the Yellow House (Brenda) and those from the Hotel Casa Sofía (Estu) delayed that the driver Chepin (Alfredo Jiménez), would like to leave me and the French traveler so if they tell you at 12:30, be punctual (10 minutes before, as Chepin emphasized) . I am also sure that he could have avoided the scolding as if we were small children and also that he will repeatedly remind us of the insufficient 400 dollars a month he receives in salary). again yellow house (Brenda) thank you for interceding so that they will wait for us and always ensure our safety and comfort. the breakfast buffet is delicious and super mega sincerely recommended in all of guatemala in the 3 weeks i spent in the country i did not find any buffet so deliciously prepared and with so much love. so well the cleanliness of the facilities is unbeatable. I am delighted. its services and atmosphere is ideal for solo travelers and those who enjoy connecting with locals. If you stay here you won't regret it at all.

This hostel is super clean, super cute and super located. Me and my boyfriend were sleeping in a dorm (6 beds), which was totally fine for that price (85Q). Breakfast is included! It’s sooo yummy and really fresh, don’t miss it! It’s so nice getting such an awesome breakfast while sitting at that beautiful green terrace watching the volcano „Fuego“. The cleaning-/breakfast-ladies are really friendly, they even make your bed every morning and they clean the bathrooms/showers perfectly. Thank you for your absolutely wonderful work! The girls at reception are always helpful and friendly, thank you guys! So all in all I can highly recommend this hostel for people who like cute and clean hostels with a family-atmosphere and who are NOT looking for a party hostel. Julia & Max

We stayed at the Yellow House Hostel before our Acatenago trek and after returning from Lake Atitlan. They were extremely responsive and helpful via email prior to our arrival. The girls at reception were lovely and friendly and gave good restaurant and cafe recommendations. Yellow House was lovely and clean. The bathrooms are constantly cleaned throughout the day. The showers are nice and hot. There is a lovely breakfast included in the rate. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff is so great. Booked all our shuttles with them and they have other tours as well. The hostel is very clean. The breakfast is huge and varied and you can eat it on the roof terrace overlooking three volcanoes. This is not a party hostel, good for couples or those trying to relax. Nice hammocks on the roof terrace. We did laundry with them for Q5 per pound and it was back the same day.

For one, I've never been to a cleaner hostel. The staff take great pains to make sure the common areas and bathrooms are spotless, which is a rare treasure in a place with shared bathrooms! The staff remembered our names, and the cleaning / kitchen staff remembered our activities and states of well-being and inquired about them the next day; all of the employees seem to genuinely care about the guests. It's by FAR the best included breakfast I've had on this trip - huge portions and so many options!!! The rooms are decorated with local art, there are flowers and plants everywhere, and the whole place feels so secluded from the busy city. We fell in love with Yellow House and hope to go back someday! Thank you so much, Marisol and Sophie, for making our stay an outstanding one.

All the female staffs were more than great. They were always super kind and extremely helpful every time we had a question about antigua or our future travels. The tours we bought through yellow house (acatenango and pacaya) were just as we hoped for, we ended up in small groups and everything worked as it should so big recommendations to the staff for all the help they gave. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was great and the woman standing ready to serve you the many different breakfast items were extremely kind and sweet to us.

This hotel is the cleanest and best beds we had in our looooong trip in Central America. The beds are really comfortable and the staff is always cleaning everything. The showers are very clean as well and they have an amazing breakfast served by smily helpful people. The views from the 2nd floor on the volcanos are wonderful as well. The room downstairs facing the reception is a bit noisy though but the other rooms aren't. They have one of the cheapest tour as well to Acatenango. We will go back for sure when we visit Antigua again.

With a popular place like Antigua the menu of accommodation choices are full on.. but this place was simply perfect for our agenda. We were back-packing with our 11 month old baby, which is challenging but The Yellow House team couldn't have been more accommodating. we emailed in advance that we had a small person and they totally sorted us with a nice spacious room which was immaculately clean as well as way from most guests so not to disturb them too. They went out of the their to make us feel welcome; the reception staff were exceptional in helping organise all the logistics and spoken English fluent..location is superb. However their breakfasts are bloody incredible. worth staying here just for this! shared bathroom facilities which puts some people off but they honestly get cleaned very two hours and prestine and never ever queued for use. Highly recommend!
