We had stayed in this hotel about 7 years ago and were equally impressed on a recent visit. The hotel itself is quite small (I'm not sure, but I think about a dozen rooms) with a courtyard in the center. It is located an easy 5 minute walk from the central plaza. If you're looking for a chain type hotel...

I love staying at Posada San Sebastian on my own or with family. Luis, the owner is friendly and accommodating and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is unique...filled with treasures from the past (collections of old chairs, antique irons, and old books). The roof top view is stunning and the garden is sweet. There is a kitchen for...

The staff at Posada San Sebastián are warm-hearted and the view from the roof is superb! The prices are hung on the wall of the room, so there was no question of what it cost. Only there for a night, but could have moved in for a month!

Highly recommend this posada. Luis and his team (Paulino, Clara, etc.) are either family or long-time employees-like family, who make the experience of staying here totally wonderful. There are a variety of funky and comfortable rooms, all with private bath, a fully-functioning kitchen for use, dependable Wi-FI, several sitting areas, a roof-top with a fabulous view - it's a great...

We stayed in a room in the very back, on the first floor and it was perfect. It was quiet and away from the street noise, but when sitting in the lobby, it was just as quiet. Luis is a great host and very friendly. It was in a great location to walk to everything and the town is very...

Great quiet place very close to the main square. Luis the owner was so helpful recommending places to eat and visit. The view from the rooftop terrace was a perfect place to hang out. Doña Luisa's best bakery and breakfast place right around the corner.

Our group of 16 members of Friendship Force had the entire hotel for a week and we could not have been happier with our choice. Luis and Paulino were wonderful, telling us this was our home while we participated in service projects around the Antigua area. The location cannot be any better being only two blocks from Central Parque and...

We are so happy that we found Posada San Sebastián! It had just the right combination of local feel and luxury that we were looking for. Framed entirely in local art and artifacts, you know you've really arrived in Antigua when you get there. Beds are comfortable, rooms are private and quiet, everything is clean, and the views of the...

Staying is gives a real feel of being in an old, special location. Luis is a warm host and his staff is helpful and professional. Plumbing is adequate but will not meet the standards of those who need 4-star comforts. Location is ideal, less than two blocks from central square. Roof deck and second floor lounge areas are both nice...

We rented a triple room and unlike in other guesthouses here we got a big room with enough space (not a double room filled up with 3 beds). Wonderful garden, stylish decoration and everything works: hot water, wifi, etc. Nice top roof terrace and a kitchen you can use. Reasonable prices. Extremely helpful and friendly staff who recommended us a...
