The hotel is right in the middle of ancient Antigua. Feels like the old (Spanish days) if you stay yhere. From the roof terrace nice views over the city and the vulcanos. During our stay we were lucky to see the smoke and magma eruption of the Fuego. Rooms are rather small, but it fits into the total environment and...

This was a charming hotel with a rooftop view of the surrounding volcanoes. Wifi and hot water was a little spotty but the room had a tv and you have a nice sitting area outside your room. Sometimes you can hear conversations but after dark guests go back to their rooms. Location was excellent, you can walk to main attractions...

Hotel Meson de Maria is a fabulous small boutique hotel in a great location. We were luckily enough to stay over Christmas and the place was beautifully decorated. The hotel is two courtyards with rooms off the courtyards, we were in room 209 was a great little sofa area outside the room with a view of the two volcanos. There...

If you are starting your tour in Antigua this hotel is an excellent choice. Very centrally located just a short distance from the main plaza, this hotel puts you within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel itself is well appointed, comfortable and decorated with a seemingly endless array of curio. The staff were friendly and discreet and the...

This really was the most perfect place to start our trip - it has a wonderfully genuine feel, very atmospheric with perfect courtyard gardens and stunning roof terrace. The rooms were simple but have everything that you could want and extremely comfortable. Staff were very unobtrusive but Antigua isa wonderfully simple city and you don't need any help to get...

Hotel is well located in the centre of the town close to the park. The range of antiques and objects around the hotel is fascinating and great volcano views from the terrace. Constant supply of free coffee is very welcome. As we were going out to meet friends for breakfast we only had coffee and fruit. Rooms well appointed and...

I stayed here for 2 nights before Christmas in December 2015 and was delighted with my choice. The hotel is charming and beautiful, packed full of interesting curios (and at that time, gorgeous Christmas decorations), and at the same time comfortable and homely. Overall, it had a really 'classy' feel to it. My room key had the best keyring ever!...

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights at the start of a tour around Guatemala. Close to the city central area, it is ideally located for exploring the colonial city. Around 20 rooms on 2 floors around a courtyard it gives a true feel of Guatemala. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Staff friendly and helpful. Does not have its...

Its only a 5 min walk from the main plaza. There are many Restaurants and Coffee shops near the Hotel, it couldn't be more convenient. Nearby eating out: We have been eating out at the restaurant...

To set this in context, this was by far the best hotel we stayed in out of 12 hotels in 6 countries during our visit to Central America. Located in a beautifully restored colonial building one street back from the main Plaza, it's convenient but quiet. The rooms were lovely with an outside terrace (and a rooftop terrace with stunning...
