Toilets without locks, kitechen that guests aren't allowed to use and an owner who sleeps in spare beds of the hostel. The front door was repaired half way through our stay meaning before that it was constantly open and anyone could wallk in.

First of all my girlfriend and I had booked to stay in the same room, which they were happy to take the deposit money for. On arrival, we were told they had essentially overbooked and that we would have to be split up, putting myself in what they claimed to be the more 'expensive' room (it wasn't) and refusing to...

I had the utmost faith in my friend's choice of accommodation for our 10-night stay in Croatia, but sometimes if a place has a disproportionate number of negative reviews, it is for a reason. We arrived at Hostel Ana on a warm July evening after a tiresome flight and taxi from the airport to the centre of Split. The hostel...

This is a very laid back hostel. The location was brilliant (Central). None of the rooms had locks and the main door was always open too but we had no issues with this. Air con was a bonus. Tip! Use the shower down the corridor on the right as it has hot water!

By far the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. We stayed here on our first 2 nights in Split and what a terrible place to start a holiday. Unclean, cramped, hot, the communal area resembled a crack den and the staff were unprofessional. I say staff, but the only work anyone did was take our money, the rest of the...

I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. The rooms/bathrooms/showers do not lock and the main front door is open 24 hours a day. On top of this the staff walk into your room whenever they want, most of the time without any obvious reason. It doesn't seem very clean either. We were a group of 4 and only 2...

We stayed here for a night once we decided that we'd add an extra night in beautiful Split. The first 4 nights were spectacular and I'd recommend the area to anyone, make sure to bring sun screen though lol Now back to Ana, we stayed here out of necessity more than anything, we needed some where quickly and this was...

Couldn't find another hostel with the dates and times we needed, found this place. Cash only payment, central location, upstairs hostel so you need to take stairs to get to it. A little on the shabby side, bottom bunks broke often, cool balcony, very little security, lockers available, fridge and mini kitchen available to use, staff hangs out often (has...

My friends and I stayed hear for 3 nights, the hosts were lovely and by the looks of other comments they are very misunderstood. The beds are comfy and the place is really clean. It was my birthday and they bought me a cake and covered my room in balloons! So sweet. Highly recommend for a cheap and great location....

Really sceptical about staying at this hostel and I will never go there again. The location was amazing, right in the middle of everything its just such a shame about how it is run. The first night was ok and we thought it wasnt too bad and we were glad we didn't listen to the reviews. By the end we...
