La Porta is located just outside the gate to the Old Town in the middle of a market area. Climb the stairs to the third floor to find the apartments. It appeared to be clean and modern and quite spacious. Downside is that there is no reception desk as it is such a small hotel yet a guy that works...

Had a room in Split for a night before moving on to Brac Island. La Porta rooms is a little hole in the wall, with several "rooms" at the top of a building that is just a minute on foot from the wall of Diocletian's palace. The rooms was nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. There was nothing flashy, but then,...

In the heart of the city, located just a minute from palace, offering peace and large rooms inside. If you like to spend vacation by meeting local atmosphere and to meet local guys, you should go there.

Great, large room in the very centre of Split. The room was sizeable with great air-con, powerful shower and very comfy bed. Most importantly there was a lovely balcony which overlooked the sea. A great breakfast was included at the nearby Luxor restaurant - great value for money and very helpful staff who booked us a taxi when we needed...

This is a very small but modern hotel with clean room. The view from the room is beautiful both during in the morning and at night. The host came to the parking place at the port to pick us up with a buggy.

Our stay here was fabulous. Duje from the property met us on the road and cheerfully carried our heavy bag up the three flights of stairs. Wow when we got to the room- what a view! Looking out to Diocletian's Palace from our balcony and we could see the harbour, with the activity of the fabulous green market below us. We...

The location is very central, just outside Diocletian's Palace, a short walking distance from the port and bus stations, and all tourist attractions. The room was clean and modern, although space was tight. The bed was comfy, and the air-con was a big plus in the summer heat. However, the walls were fairly thin; we could hear everything happening outside...
