The rooms are clean and spacious but don't have a mini-bar or fridge where you can chill things. There's a direct lift/elevator to the (free) garage and the bus service (5 minutes' walk to the bus stop) is frequent and the best way to get to the old town (cost 12 kunas if you by a ticket in advance or...

A perfectly decent 3 star hotel. Good location in Lapad, close to bus stops to the Old Town. Room was huge with a balcony, although be warned that a 'double' bed is just 2 singles pushed together. Service at reception was adequate but not exactly friendly.

Very good for a 3star hotel, not amazing but nothing at all wrong with it. The hotel is about a 10min walk from lapad beaches, Gruz harbour and 2mins from a regular bus to the old town. The location was great for us, gets you away from the crazy busy old town but still close enough, we actually walked in...

Hotel Ivka is but a 10 minute bus ride from Old Town Dubrovnik, away from the crowds, noise and circus atmosphere, in a leafy quarter called Lapad. The hotel staff are very friendly and English-speaking. The modern room have decent bathrooms, are reasonably sized with standard amenities. Many include balconies with chaise lounges and some even have sea views. The...

Excellent base for cruises, friendly staff, very good value for money, we could leave our car there in the garage for a week, well situated if you want to go to the harbour Gruz. Dinner and breakfast buffets were good , a good choice of wines.

Hotel Ivka is a lovely hotel located outside the Old Town area of Dubrovnik. We recently spent several days there and found it to be an excellent base without the noise and crowds of the Old Town area. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with the added benefits of aircon and free wi-fi. Breakfasts were more than adequate with...

A friend of mine and I stayed at Ivka for 5 nights in early May. Our twin room (312) with a balcony was spacious, tastefully furnished and very clean. Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choices. The staff were kind and very helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area (away from hustle and bustle of the...

I stayed at this hotel as part of the Croatia trip (Dubrovnik, Split-Hvar, Zagreb) in late June/early July. The hotel is located outside of old town and will probably take you at least 30 minutes to walk. If you are heading for the Harbour or Bus station, then it's probably 10-15 minutes downhill walk. Hence, if you wish to stay...

We ended up staying here because we had car trouble in Dubrovnik and the hotel was close to the garage. We were really pleasantly surprised by the hotel and very happy with our stay. The price was great and we were able to easily book two 1 hour massages at the hotel for an extremely cheap price. Our room and...
