This hotel was really awesome and wonderful. I attended solo and the staff were very attentive and polite. It's easy to get to the main bus station if you arrive by shuttle bus from the airport. Breakfast was nice and the room was cosy. You can walk to the old town in 30 mins - a very straightforward walk if you like walking or take the bus nearby. I would 100% book this hotel again.

The hotel and the room is basic . Not value for money. We have stayed at much better hotels in Croatia that is worthy of a 4 star rating , The dining area is messy and has no ambiance or character . The dining tables are bare . Not a placemat or table cloth in sight . Our room had a bad urine smell and the balcony was not cleaned well The breakfast staff were friendly and the night receptionist was very helpful . The day receptionist didn’t even ask how our stay was when we checked out she just processed our checkout without as much as a thank you or a good bye Not a hotel I would recommend in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and I will definitely go back to Croatia again

The Hotel is average, not value for money, quite expensive for the location. There was no ambience and the room and pool was very average. I’m f you want a quite stay out of town this is the place for you. The staff are very friendly though. We paid less for a beach front hotel on Hvar which was magnificent

We stayed here 10th-15th Sept and it was brilliant. Right from the start the staff were welcoming and friendly. We were a bit early for check in but the lovely guy at the desk still apologised that the room wasn't quite ready - which we reassured they didn't need to be! We were able to put our luggage in a store room whilst we went out to explore a little bit. When we got back the room was ready and it was spotlessly clean, modern, great air con and a lovely balcony to look out from - we had some amazing views despite the construction work (this wasn't a hinderance to the holiday at all). Breakfast was always fresh and delicious, the ladies great to chat to and very attentive. The pool is small but it's all you need (although it was very cold!), was never busy and sun loungers were great to sunbathe on. There is an honesty bar there which you can use and pay for any drinks or snacks you've had at check out. Just a few mins down the road to the right you have Love Bar which serves great cheap drinks and the number 8 bus goes along that street to cable car/Ploce gate/Banje Beach. Couple of mins walk to Gruz port where there are a few restaurants & shops. Thank you Hotel Berkeley staff for looking after us during our first trip to Dubrovnik and making it a positive experience. Whenever we come back to Dubrovnik we will book up here again!

Given that we found Dubrovnik to be generally fairly expensive, I thought the Berkely was a reasonably-priced, comfortable hotel with friendly staff, good amenities and a very acceptable breakfast. Located in the newer side of the city, the views of the port were pleasant if lacking the outright charm of the old city. But this was compensated by being less crowded and with restaurants slightly less pricy than there. We had a balcony where it was nice to sit of an evening and watch the sunset. The pool was modest but very usable, benefitting from spa jets at one end and the presence of the honesty bar made it easy to get drinks and snacks, albeit the range available was somewhat limited. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay and found the hotel to be a good base for our outings around Dubrovnik and beyond.

Our stay at the Berkeley Hotel and Spa in Dubrovnik was perfect. It’s great when hotels just work. Most importantly, the welcome we received from Inez and all the team at the end of a long tiring journey was warm and genuine. Well done all.

We loved our stay at the Berkeley hotel - we chose it as we really wanted somewhere in Dubrovnik with a pool - this did just the job. Loved the honesty bar by the pool as was perfect when we wanted a drink in the hot sun. Love that there was a little patio area to sit and have lunch there too. The hotel was lovely but the staff were what made it - all so friendly and welcoming. We travelled with our little boy and the staff would make him feel so so welcome at breakfast time and have a high chair ready for him. We also asked for a recommendation for a day trip to Montenegro and the lovely lady on reception told us about the company they recommended and booked the trip for us to ensure they would pick us up direct from the hotel to save travelling to the old town early in the morning. She even sorted us out some breakfast we could take with us because we were leaving early and would miss breakfast at the hotel. She said we could pick it up from reception but she delivered it to our room - wow amazing service. Would definitely stay again if in Dubrovnik. It is a little walk out of the old town but we knew this beforehand and the bus stop was a couple of minutes away and really easy to catch!

Stayed here for 4 nights in July. The hotel is in a quiet area, just set back from the main port. The hotel itself isn't big, so relatively quiet. The rooms are really big, and we had a balcony that had both a view of the sea and the pool. Breakfast is good, with a selection of cooked items to order and a buffet breakfast. The staff are really pleasant, especially the ladies covering coffee choices at breakfast. The pool is quiet with just a few sunbeds but we always managed to get one after a busy day sightseeing. The bus outside the hotel runs to where the cable car leaves from. To get to the main entrance of the old town walk to the bus stop just outside the port, its only about 5 minutes walk and the buses run much more frequently. The fair is only 2 euros so very reasonable.

This is a clean, quiet, efficient hotel with very helpful staff. A short Uber ride or bus into the old city, and very close to Graz port. Some nice cafes and bars nearby. I slept very well and enjoyed the view from the balcony. There is a luggage room with free lockers as well.
